and as a side note, whatever rich wants to do with the product, it's his choice... i'm sold on it... I have a lot of respect for you bones, whatever background you come from... I was homeless at about 12 and that didn't change until i was about 19... but i got by. Yeah, well my perspective on it is that I am happy to go wherever it is that Rich wants to take me because I don't believe for a minute that I know more than he does and I trust that if he does his own thing rather than the things I have asked for that it will be to my good in the long run.

And it is my proud duty to sleep on a little carpet at the foot of his bed, and bark or snarl (as appropriate) at anyone who has any ideas about Orion that I imagine Rich couldn't be bothered with, even though I personally wouldn't approve of those ideas.

because it was an almost empty project and I had only used one bus (of the unlimited amount of busses)

and that screenshot was from the audio mixer, not the track mixer where you can filter channels by type with the click of a button

the eq is on top btw, it's one of 9 possible eq, the channel eq being an 8 channel with comprehensive fft analyser built in.. but there's also the linear phase eq and a bunch more

You say "unlimited", I say "unruly". My attitude has always been that if a sound needs more than one or two effects applied to it, its probably not the right sound and I'll go looking for something else. Keeps everything under control.

No, for that you would have to use the Pan and Volume controls together. So you'd balance your stereo then set your level, no more or less effort than haing two sliders, although considerably less effort than having two sliders when your mix is properly balanced to start with [as it should be]. I think I would want to balance it via individual channels rather than compensate in my master section.
