when you don't have a 3 button mouse (or like me a 7 button -> gamerS.HUSH wrote:Yeah, i don't have a middle mouse button either.
i prefer the RMB actions not changing as i use the copy and swap functions quite often..
how about ctrl + LMB for the toggle? would make more sense anyway as LMB selects arrs.

I need a MIDI controller
I gave mine to my friend cause i'm cool like that
Until then, it's mousy and QWERTY keys.
And yeah, I could live with CNTRL/LMB but i still prefer RMB to layer arrangements.
Think about it RAW, feel it out... IT WOULD ROCK!!!!

ups, found some inconsistencies regarding the new banks on the settings page.
1. standard settings for playing arrangements should be set from C1 to B6, playing slices could then be set to channel 2
2. the "Use Arr." in the play slices section just allows the first 24 arrs to be used (C1 to B2)
3. the "Arr." column in the midi cc mapping just offers 1 to 64 instead of 72

Anyone else having problems renaming loops? I record loops and double click to rename them but i cannot see in realtime the name being changed. Only after i press enter does the name i typed in appear.

Also, i believe i asked this before, i would assume if an arrangement track's "Lock to Loop" is not active, adjusting the slices in the slicer would NOT affect that track. If "Lock to Loop" is active, then adjusting the slices in the slicer *would* affect that track.
Am i right in this assumption???
If I am wrong how can i have it so adjusting the slices in the slicer does NOT affect arrangment tracks?

@ S.HUSH: I've been having these problems with the textedit boxes on my system too, It works fine now though, but apparently not on all systems
I'll see what I can do, but solving a bug I cannot reproduce is difficult. In any case I'll be moving on to a more updated version of the VSTGUI framework soon, in preparation for the OSX version, and that is likely to solve these issues.
Regarding the lock to loop: what it does is to lock the positions of events to the positions of the slices. There's currently no way to do the opposite: to completely disassociate the events from the slices. If you trim a slice start, it will affect the events.
I will improve this behavior in one respect though: I'll change the way slices and events / tracks are associated so that when you insert or delete slices, it will not affect the tracks. When you move slice points it will still affect the tracks though.

thanks for the bugreport, no need to "ups"R.A.W. wrote:ups, found some inconsistencies regarding the new banks on the settings page.

I'm not sure about changing the default midi mapping as most people probably won't need all 72 arrangements anyways, am I missing something here?

+1, sounds good!Ohm wrote: I will improve this behavior in one respect though: I'll change the way slices and events / tracks are associated so that when you insert or delete slices, it will not affect the tracks.
No biggie. I can just adjust within arrangement tracks when i want exclusivity. When you move slice points it will still affect the tracks though.
