This comp is really awesome, it seems that you can approach la2a style coloring with it (but i can't really compare, i don't have UAD) and IMHO he reaches his goal: DENSIFY a mix (with transparency and versatility).
So i think i will try it as my next mastering comp.
I've tested it on a drum track with other free stuff like antress EQs (the neve ones and the GML style eq - the VGME) and the result convainced me: lot of clarity, details, punch.
The conclusion is that IMHO you can now (thanks to this cool and passionated guys who don't only work for cash) have a thousand (or hundreds)$ studio and offer great sound for bands that could'nt afford it before,
