im a bit confused about this thing. what is it? is it like a mini computer box that hosts 8 different synthesis engines? so i don't ever need a laptop to use it with my midi keyboard? is it multitrimbal?

It is a box that hosts plugins created specifically for it. did you read my review? It should answer all of your questions.zzzxtreme wrote:im a bit confused about this thing. what is it? is it like a mini computer box that hosts 8 different synthesis engines? so i don't ever need a laptop to use it with my midi keyboard? is it multitrimbal?

Hi Guys, we showed the Plugiator VSTi's at NAMM last month and will be able to offer the first public beta version by Friday this week. I request you to send us a blank email to 'support@use-audio.com' with the subject 'VSTi request' in order to be included in the VSTi beta release mailing list.
PS. First release is PC only, Mac version is currently under development.

Ditto - I think I might do something similar, although I think I'll be making it angled.fx1mark wrote:Thanks, The low res photo doesn't really show how nice the wood turned out.buscemi wrote:Nice work! Looks great.fx1mark wrote:I decided to put wood sides on my plugiator. I used red oak.

ok, he's got more voices and is multitembral, but how often do i realy use that ?
Ok, now the "Bugs", the knobs of the Pro12 looks very...äh, unusual, i think its a grafical problem.
And if i turn the knobs on the Keyboard, the knobs on the VSTi doesn't follow, would be great if they do. Ok, as i said nothing big - but thats all i noticed so far.
I did a little video (2 parts), ok there's nothing much to see, but i think you will recognize the most. And please be patient, i'm in love with that synth
- so everything takes a bit longer...
All Plugiator Owners be warned, i have the Plugiator-ASX Board inside a CME

I am very tempted to purchase a plugiator after reading a review in the latest issue of Sound on Sound. I just have one question which I cannot seem to find the answer to, does the software part of this work on Vista x64?
Thanks
Thanks

Ask Use Audio they will have the answer. you can also download the plugin manager from use audio's website and see if it will run.biodiode wrote:I am very tempted to purchase a plugiator after reading a review in the latest issue of Sound on Sound. Pretty cool... before reading (and watching the video), I didn't know this was available as an add-on (or in) for the CME... I've got a UF80, so it's nice to know that this is an option.Tupapupa wrote:ray.useaudio wrote:Yes, you did a very fine jobHi Guys, we showed the Plugiator VSTi's at NAMM last month and will be able to offer the first public beta version by Friday this week.- i am very surprised, i couldn't find any bugs (only a few little, if i could even call'em so

Yes, it is functioning well, but he CME itself produces a noise if connected with USB (not the ASX, it has its own USB).
I tried everything but can not get this noise away, it's a highly feep-tone...
