So true. As I have read this thread I've been impressed with Tim's legacy, and I feel that we will miss him and his influence so much.ohmyrat wrote:we'll miss you Tim.

Ohh no!
I remember when I released the 20 free ambient presets for Alchemy, he replied in the thread and gave me recognition and I felt honored him being one of the true masters of sound design - and now he isn't any more... how sad.
Really really made the end of my day so much ...arrgh! Today I could have avoided my daily visit to KVR.
All the love to his wife and daughter.
RIP Tim.

I've had many exchanges with Tim over the years, and have always held him in high esteem. This "news" has really saddened me...
We write our own 'epitaph' on the hearts of those we've touched... with that in mind, I think this 'thread' bears testament to the "legacy" of Tim's Spirit.
Condolences to all who loved him, and whom he loved.
... I will miss him.

I will miss Tim. He was most kind to me.
He gave me Cameleon after losing in a competition because he liked my music.
Then he let me create patches for Alchemy in exchange for it.
At Christmas he let me exchange gift cards I'd received to pay for Atomic and had me mail them to his house. These may seem like minor things, but they were major for me.
I hope his synths live on and profits will go to his family.
You owe it to yourself to check out M42, M51, and Atomic if you haven't done so. Enthusiasm for these has been regenerating as of late in the Algo Music forum.
Using his patches and instruments now will be done with reverence and affection.
There has to be a synth in Heaven with his name on it.
