I actually like them. But, OTOH I've also been called childish.Aloysius wrote:My two cents is that the New Age Graphics are a bit childish.
Is 2C's Aether REALLY worth it? (the answer is: yes, certainly)

It's not meant as a personal insult in any way. That's just my opinion. Please don't take any offence. Thank you . . .cryophonik wrote:I actually like them. But, OTOH I've also been called childish.Aloysius wrote:My two cents is that the New Age Graphics are a bit childish.![]()
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

No offense taken, but I do like the graphics and I can see how others might not. I just like the fact that they not only look nice, but also give a visual representation of the reverb type.

I like that all the knobs and buttons are available at the same page. Makes my creative experimenting efforts more fun, deeper and way more easy.

Thanks cryophonik. What I see as a good example/model here is the Ohm Force approach. Choose your skin - plain or funky!!!cryophonik wrote:No offense taken, but I do like the graphics and I can see how others might not. Great! So I can just replace 1.0.2 in my current project with the new version - and take it from there.Galbanum wrote:yes

I think we should exterminate anyone who expresses a difference of opinion!!!quantize wrote:The new UI is superb...anyone saying different needs their eyes and taste checked out immediately.

I never saw anything wrong with the old one
But the new one is fine too. I still think it's a good idea for colour coding the different areas (ER, EQ and LR)

Let me see if I understand this correctly;quantize wrote:no, just yoursAloysius wrote:I think we should exterminate anyone who expresses a difference of opinion!!!quantize wrote:The new UI is superb...anyone saying different needs their eyes and taste checked out immediately.
Rule Number 01: People who think the GUI could be better should get their eyes checked out immediately.
Rule Number 02: People who think the GUI could be better should get their taste checked out.
Rule Number 03: People who share the same opinion as me (people who think the GUI could be better) should be exterminated.
Well I respect your opinion of course but I can't say that I agree with it fully!!! Have a nicer day.

I like the new gui. Same concept (therefore existing users don't have to relearn anything) yet I think it's much cleaner. The new visual of the reverb type "reads" much much better than the old wireframe style. Of course, pretty graphics mean absolutely nothing without the sound. I'm looking forward to hearing the new refinements. I think it sounded incredible already!

+1 - IMHO that is vastly improved GUI. Congratulation.Sequent wrote:I like the new gui. Same concept (therefore existing users don't have to relearn anything) yet I think it's much cleaner.
