It bears striking resemblances to some of the features out of synapse orion, such as the effects for one. Its like they have taken some of the best features from lots of main programs and stuck them all together in a new interace. Have to say if it works it will probably take off big time. But if it fails it doesnt bear thinking about, especially after the long wait and tension build around it.

from first screen shots some of the effects look like they did in orion 7.62 but perhaps this is just the way they looked, ive only seen a few screen shots and heard alot since on this forum. just saying that i think they are trying to take and implement the best features out of software, say, such as ableton, and do away with the known flows in order to i achieve a better product than the aforementioned, and i personally hope it lives up to the expectations and someone finally delivers a complete package in the first go rather than rush ahead and release a buggy product in the hope of appeasing a few enthusiasts impatience. Mind you, it does seem to be taking quite a while longer than expected.. i wish them well

It shares features that other sequencers have?! Blasphemy lol
If they want success anyone regd here should be banned from purchasing it, especially Live users.
Bugger, that's me haha
why don't we just wait till it's released.
I hope other devs learn their lesson about sharing development of unreleased software here.
It would certainly be the last place I posted news.

session window/arrangement?? live anybodyphazedown wrote:For me, best thing is that Live now has a serious competitor on that session/arrangement view approach and so chances for an early Live 9 with 64bit and less crashes are higher.
That's all, I don't expect too much of Bitwig's first version one.
