I'm pretty sure they can be switched out. I've done that with the skin edit I'm using. Not too sure however if that skin was ever released....topaz wrote:yes, after looking at the larger image the knobs are blown out.

VitaminD, yeah I don't expect people to read everything but it's driving me nuts
I've spent about 2-3 hours just trying to figure out how to do it, changing things in the script, seeing if it makes a difference, rinse and repeat
I've emailed Urs and have seen that he's posted in this thread so I'm just gonna wait now till someone says 1: do this, then change that etc etc
vaisnava, I'll get on the fader caps when a get some guidance but agree, something silver would look good. I'll have to get in contact with the original designer of the DIVA gui to make sure they're cool with me cloning their gui before releasing it though.
And I'm really glad someone picked up on that one Topaz, it was my favourite and original idea for the gui
I've just checked for clipping and the knobs aren't blown out, they're just white lol Perhaps too white?
But overall thanks for all the positive comments and feedback, when I get this fader thing sorted I can start rolling some stuff out.

Urs is back. Since the last 15 pages have been about the GUI, I'll repost:
Urs, I don't know if it's intentional, but you've created the mutant baby of the Juno and the JP-8000. PLEEZZEEEEE, all that's needed is a supersaw oscillator on oscillator 1 and a delay.
You may have created the very first truly accurate digital emulation of an analog I've ever heard. (Arturia excepted)
I know people are gonna scream about supersaws, but I'm telling you if you stick one on this puppy it could be a downright JP=8000. (Finally feedback oscillation)
Insanely brilliant Synth Creator Award 2012!!!!!!

I had it mostly right FWIW but the most important part is we are back on track
So if everyone lets me know what faders they like, either the general style or specific synths/effects and I'll get on the case.
Oh and who did the DIVA gui?

We're still toying with a digital filter module for Diva, which would then do, well, just that.osiris wrote:I know people are gonna scream about supersaws, but I'm telling you if you stick one on this puppy it could be a downright JP=8000. (Finally feedback oscillation)

I know another company accomplished that with a Comb filter. P.S. I'm wondering about the voicing versus CPU. I notice there's a Duophonic mode, so am I right in assuming these are stacks and not 'true' polyphony as it were?

I prefer horizontal sliders rather than the more mixer like vertical faders.....if that makes any sense....scoobz wrote:don't forget to let me know what faders you'd like on the gui, update incoming

It does, that's what I've got in mind for the gui with wood accents but on this one I went for metalTeksonik wrote:I prefer horizontal sliders rather than the more mixer like vertical faders.....if that makes any sense....scoobz wrote:don't forget to let me know what faders you'd like on the gui, update incoming

I'd prefer the kind of sliders found on Diva....(since you're doing a clone anyway)
