All saved items should be matched with paths in the "places" list and made relative to this if possible. You found a bug. Thanks.DarkStar wrote:THis is getting better and better.
A couple of FRs:
(a) In the File Browser: when I stop auditioning a sample I get a click or abrupt stop - can a fade-out be added?
(b) Saved Program (or Bank or Performance ...) : the sample paths are saved in the xml file as Full Absolute paths; saving with Relative paths would be useful too, as an option

I really want to try this!
Alas, perhaps a bug or maybe my own ignorance... installed and open TX16Wx in Reaper and all of the text in the plugin is not really visible. Looks like someone hit the return key, and all the text is too low. Can only see the very top edge of it.
Is there a way to fix this?
Can't wait to try this out! Looks like just the thing I've been looking for.

You are now one out of three people who have reported this. I am not one bit closer to finding out what is different about your system. In truth, I would need a remote debugging session to your or one of the others machine to figure this out I fear...jesiah wrote:I really want to try this!

If that's a feasible option, I don't really have anything better to do today (after I wake up). Really appreciate the direct communication.elcallio wrote:

Hi elcallio,
Thank you for the fix of the waveeditor.
Drag & Drop works fine with Cubase, so it's easy to use the audio effects of Cubase like timestrech.
I have two FR's:
1. An option "Rename All Ranges/Slices" in the waveeditor menu.
2. An option "Save All Ranges/Slices" in the waveeditor menu.
I had one crash with TX16Wx b14. It crashed cubase while using "Undo-Knob" of TX16Xw.
Thank you for the fix of the waveeditor.

Just to be clear, what would these rename/save operations do? Should rename just do a "Slc #", or input or? And by Save slices, do you mean create new waves from slice ranges?ACR23 wrote:Hi elcallio,

Rename: Let's assume you chopped up a drumloop, then you go the option "Rename All Slices" and you can rename all slices to Kick, Snare, HiHat, etc. "Slc #" would be helpfull when slicing an instrumental sample.elcallio wrote:Just to be clear, what would these rename/save operations do? Yes, by "Save slices" I mean create new waves from the ranges.

Update: There is a few nasty leaks indeed. I'm on it. Expect next beta to be pristine in this regard.dexterbella wrote:I've tried all of those but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. Reduced undo queue to 5 but still the same result.elcallio wrote: 1.) Clear bank
2.) Delete unused
Both of which will clear the undo queue. You can also turn down the undo queue size in settings if you experience memory bloat.

I like the new sample window edition, but I think it should minimze to the strip of command buttons on the right - the sample record button should always be visible (until there's a host/MIDI trigger)
I also think you should reconsider the vu meters at the top section. They definitely serve a purpose, but not much compared to sacrificing a portion as important as the sampling work area. (Hide 'em?)
Also maybe consider changing the minimum sample editor wave height (taller) to match the minimum height when the sampling frame is showing so it doesn't bounce when toggling as it presently does when both are dragged to minimum heights - it only saves a line or two. Not a big deal, but the bounce is slightly unexpected/distracting.
I know space is at a premium but I really think the minimum mapper and editor heights should be the same for consistency/aesthetics.

You're going to WIN!!

Loving this lil sampler!!! Quick question, can you duplicate a zone without the start and end points of the 1st zone? Meaning if I put a long sample on say c2 and set the start and end points then duplicate that zone to c#2 without it keeping the same start and end points of c2,when I change the start and end points on one zone it changes the start and end points on the others and oneshot seems to be broke I just get very short popping sound...

Start and end are an aspect of the mapped wave, not the "zone" (TX term is group and split, but...). To modify the wave start on a per group basis you have the "Wave Start" parameter (which can be modulated). You can also experiment with creating loop regions as "Slice", then select this slice as "loop" in the mapping split. This will cause only the slice region to play (although non-looped).Smack Dammit wrote:Loving this lil sampler!!! Oneshot bypasses note-off and sustain, however, the sound is still shaped by the AEG, which means you need to increase one or more of Decay1, Decay2 or Release to actually hear anything.
