sounds damn cool your song. I dig it!BlitBit wrote:A really great plugin indeed, especially for that price. The modular concept really invites to do some experimenting and trying some rather "unorthodox" stuff. It's great for basses and for psy trancey sounds (at least that's what I often end up with).
Here is a short (unfinished) track that I did using only BeatZille as a sound source (and some freely available FX, i.e. OSC style):

Please Beat, please do not stop supplying the DVD!! I value it very much! I treasure the little gem each issue! Downloading is 'cold' & inpersonal!
(I can still browse a DVD I got 15 years ago, but there's no guarantee that content will be there on a server 15 years from now ...)
I hate the way they've done it by CM ...

Don't they have a DVD shipped with CM anymore? The way i understood it is that the CM vault is only for the digital copies of CM... and i'm very thankful i can download the content, as ordering a physical copy would be much more expensive, and it's only possible via retailer here in Germany.

I'd gladly welcome the online version. The magazines and DVDs tend to pile up and take the space.
Last time I checked, it was definitely possible
You can burn the online content to offline DVD. Or put it to a backup USB drive.zxant wrote:(I can still browse a DVD I got 15 years ago, but there's no guarantee that content will be there on a server 15 years from now ...)

Hum, first reply to that thread by me. Don't remember at all.
But yeah, still comply to what i wrote there. Bad news for the people with low bandwidth, but i would figure that most people DO have a fast internet connection these days. What can you do. Story of the internet, they just don't do it for the minority of people, but rather for the majority.

Don't need to be able to download the whole DVD. 50-60% of the DVD content is on average a compilation of freebie samples that Beat have collected during the last month. These samples users can download directly from the dev's anyhow.chk071 wrote:Hum, first reply to that thread by me. Don't remember at all.But yeah, still comply to what i wrote there. Content on DVD is also doubled in the sense that it is included both for PC and Mac.
So it wouldn't be downloading 8GB per month for a DVD. More like 2GB.

It is Beat mag that decides that its content can only be distributed by snailmail, no?chk071 wrote:I don't think Beat is to blame then, but the post.
I paid extra for postage when I signed up for the subscription. Subscribers in Germany doesn't pay for postage at all.
