Thanks for the workaround. When I opened it up and hit play, I thought "hmmm...I don't remember it sounding this crappy." lol It was a mess. Even the sawtooths weren't sawtooths, just the default sawtooth, which is just a sawtooth
I've checked again. And actually my "workaround" does not work. I have reloaded my project several times and one specific track lost the patch each time.

Yup! Just noticed the same on my last added instance in harmonic filter section only.

Ableton live 9 64bit, win 7
If you come across the entire mix sounding completely whack (knock on wood), chances are it is. I'm finding that if the osc's don't reload, neither does the harmonic filter, but the glitch occurs even if the harmonic filter is not used. One thing to keep in mind too is if you loaded a sawtooth wavetable, the default sawtooth which is not a wavetable (probably completely off base here) may be loaded. You would probably only notice if the position knob has been tweaked though.

Fortunately, the names as well as all the drop down check marks and wavetable parameters are preserved, so don't freak out and start adjusting things to the point of no return to try to fix it like I did in a panic, just simply reload the tables.

Was just about to makes presets after reloading about 25 instances haha! I'm getting fast at it. Strange how only certain patches are affected and not all. I wonder what the culprit is?

Well, lucky for you, even though I found my MuLab voodoo doll, I am all out of Eye of Newt :D

Ahahaha, no need to worry, I'm having 0 progress right now. Totally dormant days for some reason. I'll take the time to just relax, possibly doodle a little. Somehow, and here's a really powerful little tip, it's actually most powerful not to waste time on importing wavs other than possibly for the harmonic filter, because that's where the real magic is waiting. I've done some impressive vocal experiments with it and just ordinary saw waves. Careful LFO and using one lfo to modulate the timing of the other can create some very lively modulations.

Ahhhh, you get me! haha I too felt pretty dormant until Thorn perked me up a bit. As for the glitch, the problem we are are experiencing has nothing to do with imported waves, just the waves built in. It was a shock when it seemed like all was lost.

Looks like the bug which doesn't load patches is completely random. Today I revisited my project file and the same problem was on different tracks, this time in OSC section as well.

I've opted to render often and not close the project until I'm finito...should be good to go as long as the power doesn't go out :/

Hopefully there is a fix in the near future because I really like this synth.

Not sure, if you saw that post, but make sure you do ONLY have the vst2 in your vst folders and not the vst3! Apparently the latter has such problems, but vst2 is just fine. I can definitely report that the vst2 makes no problems here.

Yes, very much the "save often" scenario, but opted for rendering stems that have been tweaked! At least you are safeguarded against total disaster.

I can report though that with Reaper and VST2 (and 32-bit still - ancient machine!) I have seen no issues so far. :tu: I did not install the VST3 version, so it's not lurking on the machine. 8)

Thanks for the heads up on the vst3. I was hoping, but nope...no vst3 version installed , just the 64bit dll.

I think I'm getting close to finishing mine. It's funny, in the past I've spent maybe a weekend or two on the OSC and called it a day. This time, I've been at it since day one, driving the family nuts...still plenty of time til the deadline, but I feel like it's crunch time! lol
