Thanks, I got out my level and tape measurer and setup properly ish,
Still need to be more proactive, trying different listening location :)

Congrats to the winners, all great tracks (personal fav was progtronic's), still so much for me to learn :) Pretty much aligned with my 5's although I was just particularly smitten with rockingricky's 'live' track. No 2's from me this round, which is probably a first.

I guess the pre-alpha tag put people off, which is unfortunate as this synth is still better than some 1.0 releases I've seen.

So trippy.. you had my overall fav this round as well. Seems we were both kind of on the same page (musically/cosmically), with that sorta "dark"/groove thing.. goin' on.

Grats everyone. That was a really cool synth to work with.

Congrats to the top 5, so many good tracks this time. I think that perhaps this round has provided more quality tracks than most OSC rounds to date. Really well done everyone.

Damn it's harsh to look at your score sometimes. But I know I have a problem with polishing my tracks and get blinded a bit with what the problem areas are. That single 5 tho!

Post

Huh!? How have I made it into the list with my "not a submission" track? It wasn't even there when voting, was it? I'm puzzled!?
Second - TheNeverScene only 4th...come on guys :help:

Post

Phew, congrats to the other top 5'ers and thank God you won, Jasinski - after much deliberation, I gave you a 4 this time, and it would have been really embarrassing if the results went the other way around

Honoured to get 2nd place in such a strong round - so very well done, everyone! I enjoyed every single track this time.

Haha, thanks Peter. I actually thought I'd end up lower on the totem pole, so I am very happy.

I think you got credited for Stohgs' track somehow.

Prog's track was my fav this month as well. Just remember who convinced you to do your thing here when you get famous! haha

Trojak's singing was another defining moment as well.

Crust was surprisingly fantastic, so thanks to Eugene for that and hope to see it grow.
Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

Congrats, top dogs! :hyper:
...I'm a bit with Peter on the TNS placement, hehehe, it was really a track to remember, but at least he's in BIG LETTERS. But they're all well deserved headliners and most excellent creations!
I'm also thrilled for schiing, who is beautifully humble, but maybe the biggest musical beast among us. But then, we're a beastly bunch, are we not?! 8)
Jasinski's step back to his roots was safe, but also a reminder of the uncanny strength he has developed to create these sorts of tracks. Like a fortress of expert understanding, making the toughest tricks look/sound effortless. A true acrobat. :hail:

Thanks, BJ, for introducing this most promising and inspiring little big synth (or big little synth?) to us. I know fantastic things must happen to it and I will most likely load it up again for some fun explorations. This happened, uhmm....almost never, actually, because I pretty much stopped making music outside of the OSC, hahaha...strange how that happens. Anyway, Crust inspires me to do so some time, I'm sure! :tu:

Well done amazing winners! Fantastic stuff.

I feel honoured to be in the top 20 this month, every track was at least good, right through to superb. :tu:

'Beastly Bunch' :hihi: Maybe we should all do a collab project somehow :D

Post

Woops, I just realized I mixed up progtronic and NeverScene....honest mistake. In my book progtronic did one of the most outstanding tracks in a while in terms of daring and expert application. Phenomenal piece! :hail: :hail: :hail:

Well done to everyone, this round definitely entertainz :D

Okay, so I'm a bit manic at the minute, too much caffeine and only 2 hrs sleep, I posted an idea on the general discussion thread. Somewhat akin to Zarf's.
Thought I would strike whilst the synth was stable :) if peeps are interested ?

I feel a bit like this as I did the same! :o To me the OUTSTANDING percussion in some tracks just made me rate them higher!  And then, the awesome singing  - and so on. A mixed bunch of truly great tracks. Happy to be halfway in this company. :tu:

My compliments gentlemen!
Schiing, Prog, TNS, TrojakEW; wish you joy of your wonderful tracks! An extremely tight race. The tracks this month though diminished in quantity made up for it in quality. An excellent round!

In the way of Prize taking, I lay claim to Luftrum's "Synthwave Diva" sound set.

@rghvdberg, you are welcome to include the track on Spotify.
