I had BFD Eco at FXpansion and a bunch of expansions. First I upgraded to BFD3 then I transferred the expansions. I'm not seeing the expansions. Do they take a while or have I buggered things up?
Best thing to do in that case would be to make sure your FXpansion email is the same as your inMusic email. If you've already done the migration though, then most likely your BFD3 went to your main account (or whatever account you were logged into at the time of purchase) and your expansion packs went to the account associated with the email in your fxpansion account.

If you get in touch with support they'll be able to fix this for you Pough; sorry for the hassle!

Thank you for migrating to the new home of BFD

Is there another way to download the core library? The License Manager was using about 90% CPU while it was trying to download it.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Feel like I'm Beta testing this new system :)
And also got a serial for the free expansion pack but 'Redeem Now' link just returns to same page?

Edit - found it - so you just go to the products page on bfd site and 'buy' product and apply the serial code. Easy. Got to say, the freebie is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Don't be fooled by the Download tab. It shows current downloads but not available downloads. Available downloads are at the bottom of the Licences tab.

In the license manager, find BFD3 and click on it and a menu at the bottom will reveal two download links, one is the application the other its Core lib.

I have asked for the transfer email 3 times and still nothing. I have checked my spam filters. What now?
I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

There's a License Manager manual as well:

I appreciate the updates and the free pack! I've got everything going.

My only feedback is that both the download manager and the installers are using 100% of my CPU.

Hm, how did you get the free pack? I could register everything fine, but I don't seem to see any option to get the free pack - when I go to my BFD registration, it says "redeem" there, but if I click it, it leads to an empty page. Also, no mail regarding this.

Beyond that, I got everything running (standalone even works on my M1 Mac Mini - the plug in not so much, but that was to be expected).

thanks all, sorry I have a child's frustration tolerance

Mac OS 15.6 here, the download of the update came down in a couple seconds. 15.7 botched BFD3 completely here, it immediately began throwing an insurmountable exception, 'API for web demo' unavailable, there was no getting into the application or the plugin at all.

It's not that straight forward... There is a coupon code in the top right of the promotions screen. You have to copy that code. Then, open up the BFD Drums website, (there is no direct link I could find). Go to the expansions, add the one you want from available options to cart. Check out, you can add the coupon code to the check out there, the fields for you payment info will go away and you will get it for free.....

Then you will get an email with the license code that you will need the new license manager to enter that license into to sync it to your account.
Hope that helps!

Can anyone tell me where "the promotions screen" is?

I did the migration but after the software migrated to inMusic, other than a short email saying success, there was no other information. No link to the software manager. No info about the free pack. etc. Nothing in "spam".

UPDATE: The email showed up about 5 hours after I completed the migration and had all the info on updating and the free expansion. I was able to do all that with the help of forum members (thanks!). I also updated to 3.4 and re-scanned the library and is ok macOS 10.13 Reaper 6 AU format. Also at this point inMusic is going to see about accommodating people that own all the free expansion packs. News to come. All ok so far. It was a bit of a convoluted process but it worked out with some effort. they could probably streamline in somehow.
