It's a bug; we will fix it as it's now reproducible here (no one actually submitted a support ticket, though...). For now, install all the options and the VST2 & VST3 will install correctly.

Weird thing is, personally, I made a comment on May 21st. After watching yt vids. Just applied it on late Friday. But I'm working on my first track since May 9. About when SM was released.
Now my mix still sounded a bit potty. Obviously, when I say "potty" it's just in the 1-2% range. Tried my go to without getting it right. So I worked without it, knowingly I needed just a small touch of delay. Very subtle. Finally, I decided to give SM a try, because it's like praised into Valhalla, you know. Was like "oh well..."
Soloed the stuff I needed and within a few minutes I understood how versatile this plug in is. It works like WD-40

Sean on Gearslutz....
I've just uploaded the ValhallaSupermassive 1.1.1v5 installer for Windows onto the main Supermassive page:
https://valhalladsp.com/shop/reverb/val ... ermassive/
This fixes an issue a few users ran into when deselecting one or more of the install options (i.e. if you didn't choose to install AAX). It was a typo in the installer.
Mac Supermassive users: nothing new for y'all since yesterday. Those installers should be pretty solid at this point. Signed, notarized and ready for Big Sur. WOO-HOO!!!

Haven’t been on my desktop or laptop all day or else I would’ve reported it. Might be a case of Kitty Genovese syndrome (aka the bystander effect) at play too where everyone thinks somebody else must have already reported it so no one does. Sorry.bleen wrote: Sat Sep 26, 2020 10:33 pm It's a bug; we will fix it as it's now reproducible here (no one actually submitted a support ticket, though...). Glad it’s sorted though.

Could you please fix the link? It seems like it was shortened in the OP from Gearslutz, but it doesn't work that way outside that forum.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2020 2:17 am Sean on Gearslutz....

I own every Valhalla plugin except Plate, and this is without a doubt my favorite. Room lives on my reverb return as i have a dingy, dark hall preset that i never touch, but i'm using Supermassive constantly as an insert for chorus, widening, reverbs and delays on everything. Insanely versatile with just the essential controls (a predelay would be nice, but there are workarounds). Also...thank you for including a width knob! I have zero interest in emulations of vintage echo or reverb units, or even realistic rooms. What i am interested in are tools that are simple, have their own sound, and cover a lot of ground. Supermassive is absolutely perfect.

Its well worth owning even if you have a ton of other reverbs since it sounds so good.digitalboytn wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2020 7:46 amvoidhead23 wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2020 7:39 am I have zero interest in emulations of vintage echo or reverb units, or even realistic rooms. This is one of the most generous act in the plugin world. Not just an ordinary freebie, but a superb creation that can simply turned into lots of cash, freshly delivered to the people. Thank you so much, really appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that if Supermassive was a 5000$ hardware box it would be as revered as Bricasti M7 and Lexicon 480/960 etc.
It is THAT good in my opinion. Regardless of price or pedigree it's among the very best delay based effects ever created.
This is also the first reverb from Valhalla that has that elusive "it always fits in a mix" feel ala modern Lexicon (which has been their strong suite in my experience). It very rarely has unruly buildup of resonances and frequencies. It just cancels out stuff when you expect it to get too thick.. thus you can keep on adding more and more without it ever unbalancing the mix. There's some magic voodoo going on here for sure.

Is there a share place, a forums, or any other place where people share their Supermassive presets?

This thread could be it - all you gotta do is copy & paste the preset text...Neon Breath wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2020 5:36 pm Is there a share place, a forums, or any other place where people share their Supermassive presets?
