Hey there. I did a demo track for an awesome new 1989 Soviet guitar library by Karoryfer Samples.
viewtopic.php?t=559482
I decided to go with MixBox and all fx you hear are done with only IK Multimedia lunchbox modules. There’s a melody line going through a Jazzchorus amp and some SEM filtering. There’s a line of Soviet guitar getting hit with a stick, through MixBox leslie. And finally I used a slightly distorted Minimoog filter, with resonance cranked up way high and put that through a digital delay line, only to end up with a pretty cool percussive clavinet type sound.
Very inspirational effects guys. It’s like these guitar lines were playing themselves once the FX were applied.

The Crossgrade Crunch deal sure is tempting. But I hope IK will let us know what we can expect from these user requests before the deal is over:

We've added another processor for free and fixed issues in any updates since release. Other updates will surely come but I don't have specific information on those suggestions from the IK Forum users at this time.

I am still seeing the blur issue when one inserts MixBox into an insert and they you launch the plugin to edit it. The interface is blurry for a sec and then clears a bit. What exactly has been fixed?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Tue May 04, 2021 6:08 pm We've added another processor for free and fixed issues in any updates since release. GUI issues were addressed in a past release. If you are still experiencing any issues, please report them to IK Support and they'll work with you to resolve the issues. Thank you.telecode wrote: Tue May 11, 2021 11:16 amI am still seeing the blur issue when one inserts MixBox into an insert and they you launch the plugin to edit it. Just heard Erik Norlander say in the SampleTron 2 video that MixBox also will get the Vintage Plate effect.

i highly suspect the vintage plate is the cut down plate from T-Racks Sunset Studios plugin.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

I had that thought too as IK does use the same effects inside multiple products. So I compared SampleTank's Vintage Plate to the very nice sounding Sunset Studio plates, but I had a hard time trying to make Vintage Plate sound exactly like them. But you can get good results with Vintage Plate.Burillo wrote: Thu May 20, 2021 9:46 am i highly suspect the vintage plate is the cut down plate from T-Racks Sunset Studios plugin.

No Vintage Plate in MixBox 1.2.0. I must have misunderstood.Lotuz2019 wrote: Thu May 20, 2021 7:42 am Just heard Erik Norlander say in the SampleTron 2 video that MixBox also will get the Vintage Plate effect.![]()
Changes from version 1.1.1:
Added EQ-PA: A channel strip EQ with phase invert, preamp, and band pass filter
Added Rack master Wet/Dry FX Control
Added Auto-Save feature, which preserves app state upon close
Improved EQ-PG internal oversampling to prevent EQ cramping
Fixed a bug where song presets would use display name "Rack Presets"
General reliability improvements
