I tried to install Logic about 5 times and could never get it to work. That has to qualify as pretty bad. :x

Second place would be Tracktion, because they keep updating it so fast I can never keep up.

But my favorite continues to be Sonar, and especially Sonar 4 with easy freezing of tracks. I had a 15-track song that I could not export on my crummy PC, but by freezing the tracks (in less than a second for each track) I could export the whole thing fast and cleanly!

I'm putting a vote in for Magix Music Studio, because it has never worked properly on any machine I have tried it on (and as a former Logic PC user, I wanted it to work). It does have awesome power for the money...but given it's "newbie" pricepoint I don't think any newbie should be subjected to Logic 4's learning curve.

i'm voting for cubase, but only because i'm using cubase se, and so far it seems like everytime i try to do something, i find out that's whats been cut out for this version.. f**king pos

Wow! Orion's up to 13%? Shocking -- I wasn't aware enough demos were downloaded to have "educated opinions" put it above Cubase. :o I voted N-Track -- what a sloppy beast.

the problem with this poll is that people will only vote based on experience (oh okay maybe some bias too). If you hven't tried a product you have no experience of it. This makes we wonder if the 'worst' product is also, ironically, the most owned...

sure, but lots of people own burberry baseball caps.

does that make them the best brand of baseball cap ?

I thought this was really just an excuse to go into slag mode. No host is sacred I say - let's trash 'em all.

Oooo - now if Project 5 had been on the list, I would have been torn... :hihi:
Me too. The P5 demo destroyed my ReWire dll, causing me to reinstall Sonar. Reason is still weirdly crippled:it will no longer save new preferences, starting from the date of the P5 disaster. I have since that time changed midi interfaces and must therefore choose my midi interface every time I launch Reason. This was a known issue for some time with the version of 1.0 that the demo is based on and remains unfixed. It is fixed in the full version of 1.5, but who's going to buy something that you can't safely demo? I will never buy P5 because of this shabby customer treatment, and I am an enthusiastic Sonar user.
