Ohm Force’s Ohmicide[S] has been released! 😍

Edit: Ok, I think I cracked it. It was two problems in my case:

1) I'm running a laptop with nVidia Optimus. Ableton 12 and Ohmicide(S) were not getting well together when the selection of GPU was set on "automatic". (Btw In Windows 11 this setting is done in Windows panel, not the nVidia one, lol.) For some reason it landed always on the integrated one, which was not strong enough to handle the Ohmicide(S)'s GPU accelleration, causing usable but stil noticeable slowness.

2) Even when the system was set in a way it used the nVidia graphics, once GPU accelleration in Ableton was turned on, the GPU thread started heavily halting while Ohmicide(S)'s GUI was drawn on the screen. So there is some GPU resource Ableton and Ohmicide(S) are fighting over. Again, specific to Optimus equipped systems.

So the solution is:
1) Force Optimus to use the stronger GPU of the two.
2) Turn off GPU acceleration in Ableton 12's settings.

(This btw explains why this issue was not present in Ableton 11. I think the GPU accelleration was not yet implemented in Ableton's settings.)

Well I bought it anyway. Some of the distortion models are ungodly for sure. Tough to understand some of the EQ spectrum in widths etc. Took a minute to understand saving User presets. Same really on Infinity. Are the plugins useful? Well yeah when I figure out everything. I have a Helix and two Meris pedals so for me, its an adventure. There are plosives when switching distortion modules like Flower Filter someone made once. The initial My First Distortion cant even turn that on or will kill headphones or speakers. Something milder for bringing up first time might be in order too.

Lots of bugs like Simple Guitar patch and go to PRE>use Square as distortion and Bias has to be moved to do anything on sound. Amp Gain controls nothing in left hand side. Seems like lots to do on this to make half as good as old plugin. This is easy to NOT understand. One thing that doesnt work consistent on any newer plugins is Save under the preset title. Sometimes give you dialog box and sometimes it overwrites without warning the one you were revamping.

can it be that the plugin has probs with FL Studio? or maybe other DAWs too?
i added it in a full session which just consumes 50% CPU and 4% RAM and 1 instance Ohmicide S suddenlay makes the whole session unusable, freezes, delayed clicks etc. sucks

Yup, happens in Ableton as well. It halts the GUI thread in a spectacular way. It doesn't happen to everyone though. There is some other condition I wasn't able to figure out.

Edit: Actually when you have your power management on "Highest power" then it works OK. Once you set it to "Balanced", the plugin starts to be extremely laggy. I tried that on a fresh Ableton and Windows install.
