Cunning move, my son...

Post

 Seriously, I thought it was great, you tricky trickster :x
Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

Had I been more cunning I would've neglected to mention it. Now I just look like an idiot. <-- And now I'm down on myself again so please, spare me a vote. :D

griels, seriously, a big thank you for the comment. :!: My tricky trickster days are over because of it.

Post

I feel so used :x

P.S. Please remember to vote for my entry this month... The counselling sessions cost money and I have to have CamelSpace...

Oh, and don't mention it Shuzhen, you cad

I have thought it would be nice of me to rank my votes for those that gave me the best reviews... but I didn't think that was cricket. And besides, at this point, the so-called song which I'm considering entering has no chance. It's isn't catchy, danceable or super-appealing. Maybe a remix will improve it.

In the future we could have "music for shopping" or "music for dental work" or "music for bowel movements" or something along those lines. Although I've seen a few who tend to hold off going to the bathroom until they do some seriously weird dancing...

One of my favorite records was "Music to Make Housework Easier."

Post

"pheeleep, I whisper " Kvr kvr kvr audio... kvr kvr kvr audio audio dot com com com.... " in my entry.. ( at the very end )
awesome. I was rolling as I listened!
..what goes around comes around..

You consistently rank in the top 3. I am sure you can come up with something.. :)

Camel Space is so cool  . One of my favorite effects now. I used 2 instances of Camel Space on my vocals ( when I talk at the end of my comp entry).

I wish you luck! I know how you feel. I've been wanting to have Cameleon 5000 for the longest time.. The prizes are no joke!

PS: I have just heard one entry so far, and it wasn't yours.. I'll listen to them all soon..

You(tm), in that case, I will give you a review that sparkles even before you enter. Then it will certainly remit my repute of being a cad (thanks ALOT griels ), and give everyone a newfound sense of my absolute forthrightness.

But I'm sure your entry will work if you just give it a chance with a remix. Based on what I've heard from You(tm), I find it hard to believe that it wouldn't have a chance.

I'd like music for waste sorting on a bad hair day maybe.

But actually, music fitting to a short story (or not even that, but a few sentences, a phrase or something), or a picture or short film clip could be nice.

Cheers... Not submitted it yet, but it's on its way :D

i was hooked right from the beginning. very catchy and in very psudo-early-videogame way. i would have liked to have heard a stronger ending. feels like i couldnt finish the level ;)
Thanks for the review. :)

very nice to listen to, but not dancing enough

make me dance: 4
new sounds: 6
composition/production: 8
thanks for the review liqih, i wanted to try an get a groove that wasn't 4/4. i'm not really wholly satisfied with it - it's a little rigid but i'm happy you rate the production so :)

ok...this is totally groovy. i dont know what else to say except im really enjoying this one. this is right up there among my favories so far

:D thanks ugo, 'music to dance to' isn't my usual output, but the idea was triggered by listening to recordings of dance bands in the congo, made during the 1940s and 1950s - i don't listen to much 'new music'.

special thanks to wopelka for overseeing the review thread 8)

nice slow bluesy number. this is one of those songs where, if played at a blues bar, you'd see a whole bunch of women dragging their reluctant guys out to the floor dance.
thanks for your review
I tried to make some ballroom music :)
