Looks really coolThomasHelzle wrote:Oh yes pleaseOgopogo wrote:^Wow. Now somebody make that into a synth somehow please.
Autechre Sean often seems to use fluid simulations (and probably some chaos/fractal stuff as well) for their music by the way.
Back on topic:Autechre Sean wrote:yeah (altho some people prob already know this) i'm a huge fan of simulating fluid dynamics to make things move around in a controllable but beautiful way (using navier-stokes equations)
Are we there yet

I must admit, all of the foreplay cats make me want to play with the demo so, hopefully the demo will land with the release version. Who knows, if it's inexpensive maybe it can replace FLStudio for me for hip-hop stuff, though I'd probably miss the VSTI part.
Let's get the cat out of training camp and into the pitching rotation.

i think BWS has a lot under the hood even if it doesn't do everything for everyone right at V1.0
i'm sure they have a certain set of goals for V1 and want those met before releasing. i hope they are being realistic. i'm really interested in it and i'm anxious to check it out...
get the basics in there for what this program will represent as "change" and make it stable. put it out and then do your 1.x update and let it evolve with input from a wider user base.
so, yeah.. whatever.. i'll check back in a few weeks... hopefully there will be something new here.

really ? how did the leak end with a multi-year delay ? Not that I doubt you, just curious about development practise and what the knock-on effects are. Sounds interesting.ZenPunkHippy wrote:If you remember what happened with D-16 and LuSH-101 beta: a warez leak delayed the release for years.

We've been over this!Regnas wrote:Anyone feeling that Bitwig is a vaporware...? I'm feeling..
Bitwig simply can NOT be vaporware... you just need to be patient as DAWs take time to build, especially a feature rich + (guessing)quality one like Bitwig.
I bet you don't even feel that Bitwig is vaporware ..you're just sad you're not getting any atm!
It's just a phase, find something else to do, simple as that!

There is no question that Bitwig is vaporware.Regnas wrote:Anyone feeling that Bitwig is a vaporware...? I'm feeling..

Taking a long time to come out =/= vapourware. Read the thread and you will see that they are working on it as we speak.Regnas wrote:Anyone feeling that Bitwig is a vaporware...? I'm feeling..
