@Norrin_Radd
I'm reluctant to complexify the step envelope but this should be quite doable using the script and MIDI CC
It's quite similar to the MIDI CC LFO factory script but with looping support.
I'm pretty sure you can even create a cool chip tune script which would be more powerful than the step envelope. (Or dare EvilDragon to do it)
A quick test we had in our scripts archive
http://we.tl/XE3KNOK9J9
Load a simple sine and DnD this lua file (once unzipped) in the event page of the program.

In IRCAM SCRUB when i change window value i get 200-700% (!) cpu overload first few seconds while pressing notes.
Very often after it sound disappears in Bitwig Studio. But i'm not sure that this question for you.

And IRCAM SCRUB is already the optimized version of IRCAM STRETCH, that's how things are in Falcon, it seems that a further CPU-optimization is not possible. But on my Mac Pro in Logic 10.2 and Cubase 8 I can definitely use SCRUB at higher sample buffers, IRCAM STRETCH only with the most basic settings, it's not made for live performance really, but it sounds damn good, it's my main time-stretching device these days next to PaulStretch.mrfrenkie wrote:In IRCAM SCRUB when i change window value i get 200-700% (!) cpu overload first few seconds while pressing notes.

in the file browser...
is there any way to hide files that are not readable by falcon?
for example, i have folders where there are a bunch of .wav files which also have corresponding .asd which get generated by ableton.
it would be great if there was a way to hide these kinds of files.

also in the file browser, is there a way to sort the files?
...by name or by date created?
i'm probably missing something though i haven't found a way to do this.

@ the3ug3reeder Currently there is an icon for those with the right extension but there is no way to hide the unredeable once.
Problem with that is that unless you use the file extension which is not always set for audio file (Hello OSX), you will need to try top open each file to see if it actually works, which is a very CPU intensive process.
If you want fancy sorting, I suggest you to use the Explorer/Finder of the OS as we support external DnD, so it will work just like the internal one.

Hi all...
This must be questioned many times, so sorry for my ignorence.
(But this topic is 164 pages.
)
I was looking to buy machfive 3 (you feel this one coming
) Is falcon the new machfive? Or is it a totally new/other thing? They just look so much the same...
But after looking all the videos etc.. Im more leaning to Falcon. What a beast!

Falcon is the evolution of M5, it contains everything M5 has, plus a lot more, all M5 sound are compatible with Falcon, here is an FAQ thread.codec17 wrote:Hi all...

The only thing it is lacking compared to MachFive is support for importing certain sampler formats. Not sure why that was removed but it's not a major issue unless you really need to use multiple formats (and there are convertors available for most anyway).
