Bull. Don't forget that U-He released some buggy stuff as well (which was fixed as well btw, but also over time).kiezum wrote:I get the impression that U-He are more interested in giving us better tools to make music. And Vengeance is more interested in our money.

There are people waiting for their other V-plugins to be fixed for more than 3 or 4 years. But they keep creating new stuff instead to generate more income. Their older plugins got abandoned (no Metrum/Phalanx xps/bugfixes anymore, SC/GB/TS still have timing issues and crash, and so on) or can't keep up with similar new generation plugins (like Nicky Romeros Kick or Kickstart to name just 2).godly wrote:Oh please! Give them some time, they will deliver and work out the problems. But that's not all. You're thankful for bug fixes which have been obvious and should have been fixed before the release. Some praise the dev for releasing 4 updates (that did not fix bugs that already were claimed to be fixed) in 7 days!? And I never read an apology or "Yes, we f***ed up and made mistakes." (if so I apologize because I overread that). Instead they write excuses that obvious bugs are system dependent or that one should spent money on a 4k display because the font isn't blurry there.
I think there's at least a bit of truth in kiezums statement that Vengeance is more interested in our (big christmas sale) money. Can't say anything about U-He.

Been having a play with the demo.
Its a bit like nexus in that you can stack samples. The potential to run two instances of nexus and create my own sounds by blending and tweaking the layers is a good one, doing it all in one window with better options is very intriguing. Its a bit like sylenth in that its not analogue and its not harsh, its just pretty neutral, clean, and unoffending. I will take this over the tone of Serum which bugged me, but it was probably just me. If I need analogue I will stick to poizone or lush.
The UI is slightly too big for me. But I will take not being able to see the patch window over not being able to see a thing (Ultra analogue comes to mind). Will be interesting to see what the synth wizards can do with this one. Already heard some pretty impressive stuff like the angel pad posted here earlier.
I don't really have the skill set or patience to exploit what Zebra2 can offer to the pro sound designers...usually. This morning I've been creating my own kind of complex patches, and its actually pretty fun, and surprisingly easy to get going. The downside is the price, a very expensive piece of software. I will, wait this one out a bit and see how the bugs are going, although, no problems here... My cpu usage with one instance running is at 5-20%, averaging around 10%. This is with an Intel 2500k quad core from a few years back now, in fact, I've had this PC for ages so nothing new. I use Windows 7 and did not experience any crashing.
So yes, I like it, I don't exactly need it but if I was going to buy a new synth and had to choose between all the recent options I would go with this one. But first, wait and see if the people who have pointed out genuine bugs with evidence get timely fixes. And one last thing, the ability to stack samples could result in some serious goldmines for those who purchase sample banks. And my guess is the developers are going for this.

Sorry, not my most rational comment. It is my personal feeling/impression about the companies. Just that.kiezum wrote:I get the impression that U-He are more interested in giving us better tools to make music. And Vengeance is more interested in our money.

Logic create only 15 AUX channel
after speaking with apple support, they say for one instrument Logic give 16 Stereo channel from 1 to 32 with no restriction and free to use for any instrument, msvs wrote: yes, Logic does not allow more than 16 (+1 Master Channel) per plugin
this is a technical restriction from Logic, we cant do anything against that. We also can not tell why Logic does this limitation. As you can see, other DAWs allow more
if you need master for the 16 track then user can create track stack (stumm or folder).
so it is not Logic restriction as you said ( programer used only the false assignment for the channels)
* and so you have the frist 4 channel free for the synth and 12 channel free for drums
1 channel 1-2
2 channel 3-4
3 channel 5-6
4 channel 7-8
5 channel 9-10
6 channel 11-12
7 channel 13-14
8 channel 15-16
9 channel 17-18
10 channel 19-20
11 channel 21-22
12 channel 23-24
13 channel 25-26
14 channel 27-28
15 channel 29-30
16 channel 31-32

All in all, awesome synth. Excellent selection of factory presets and top qality generators. In my latest production Avenger replaced Spire almost completely th better pro qualty of overall sounds.

Calling this Synth a moneygrab is the stupidest thing i've read in KVR. The design and workflow of Avenger is really good. Definitely designed from a musician mindset.

Playing with the Demo some more, now that it was fixed on my system. Btw thanks to the devs for lowering the level of the demo noise.
I have a question about the AA-Reverb. Is it based on ArtsAcoustic by chance?
