Hello,Squids wrote:Okay! Just got back. Sorry about that. Doing this remotely from Mexico was a royal PITA. I worked myself sick and everything was slow... I shouldn't have even gone but... oh well. Now I am back and we'll be able to kick this into high gear.
I haven't yet read the posts and need to get situated here. But real quickly I did notice a couple of things. One is apparently the TGA (which is the GUI) was not included in the OWD kit downloads. It was supposed to be so we're going to put it into the OWD kit 1 and 2 which you can either re-download OR even better I am going to have them put it into the Support page later today on SR.com
Another thing. Someone pointed out to me that they heard "Drop outs". There are no actual drop outs in audio don't worry. But some "Alts" were activated that were blank. Easy to just go in and turn them off actually but they're not supposed to be that way anyway so I am also going to fix that and upload replacement patches for that too. For the other kits that is being checked over before they're uploaded. You gotta remember this is new and while it has been tested for bugs in DM2 and been through that there is also an extra human step that is new which is updating the scripts with the exact number of alts per articulation... TMI I know. No worries. That will be sorted out asap and the rest of the OWD kits will be there as soon as possible as well as the Redeem Code for Infinite Player. As I mentioned that has to be done by hand one by one and there are 600+ people so... some have it some don't - all will have it soon.
Be back in a bit.
So since I downloaded the OWD kit last night I need to do it again???....the size was right then and is still showing the same on Esoundz?
Just re-downloading the Infinite player it seem to be the right size the first time it was less than half of your posted size...?? not sure what happen there (I'm on a macbook)

I'm a new customer, lured by this GB. I am very impressed with the level of customer service and accessibility to the head honcho. It rivals David Haney's at Zendrum.
I downloaded IP, OWD1 & OWD2 last night and started playing with the sounds. I got it all going very quickly (pretty intuitive) and even was swapping instruments. I swapped the OWD1 BD into the OWD2 kit and added a lower floor tom.
Man, I LOVE THESE SOUNDS!
Only two kits downloaded and I already have a kit that would replace Superior 2.2 Avatar as my main kit. I am thrilled that I was one of the lucky ones that got to start playing around with the sounds last night.
Unfortunately, I started playing before reading the documentation and made the mistake of saving the hybrid I created, which put the patches into permanent Demo-disabled mode until I get them authorized. Apparently after the 30 min you can reload Kontakt and keep using the sounds in Demo mode UNLESS you do a save. So now I am patiently waiting for an IP serial # to authorize the sounds.
I'm an E-drummer that will be using the sounds live with my TD-20 and Zendrum ZX. One thing I need help with is an issue I experienced with the hi-hat (VH-12). The bow sounds are fine, but when I play edge sounds slightly open they all choke immediately. I'm unable to get any slosh going on the hi-hat at all. I'm wondering if this is due to the change Dave made to the scripts?
I did do a factory reset on my TD-20 before starting to use the OWD sounds, just to be sure any tweaks I had done for Superior Drummer wouldn't get in my way.
As soon as I get my IP Serial # and get the Hi-Hat issue resolved I'm planning to do a quick video (Drumrgal style) to demonstrate the sounds. They are FANTASTIC. They really do sound better than the MP3 demos.

I think I've already explained that if we missed the 31st for delivery that with the holiday weekend the next business day was going to be the most realistic. Yet, we're working through the weekend to do it and it was extremely difficult for me to get everyone to do everything right with me not being here... now I am back. Also I explained that as of about 10pm last night until now that I wouldn't be able to do anything. Now that I am back here is what's going on:
1. Infinite Player + Kontakt Player 3.5 Mac and PC were put into ONE zip but that was not what we intended so that is being split up now (as it should be). If you clicked on the redeem code in the last hour or so and got an error it may be because files are being swapped out on the back end. I'd wait until I say it's all clear which will be in an hour or so I would imagine.
2. Some people got the old Infinite Player - it's actually the same Infinite Player but doesn't have the piano in it. The piano is yours so if that happened to you then contact Allen so he can get you the piano separately. The way to know is if the Infinite Player installer installed Kontakt Player 2 (which does not work with the NEW kits of the GB). If it did then it's fine, you'll need to use KP3.5 or KP4 which you can get separately and then talk to Allen to get the free piano.
3. You do not have to re-download the full OWD Kit 1 & 2 for the GUI and patch replacement. We'll provide a link to JUST the patches to replace which are small. You WILL need to have in the root of your Infinite Player folder two files called: Studio ProFiles Infinite Player_info.nkx and Studio ProFiles Infinite Player_info.nkc - those are where NI stores the GUIs (graphic interfaces for our Infinite Player). I am having that put into the SR Support/Download section of www.sonicreality.com so you can just drop that in there. NOTE: To Drum Masters 1 users, you have that info file but you need the NEW one with a newer date to replace it so you have things like the new OWD GUI etc. So, basically DM1 user or new user you ALL need that file. Incidentally, that was supposed to be just included with the kits and is going to be updated today so it is. Everything I am saying is just for the people that already downloaded stuff. As of a couple hours from now anyone who starts downloading THEN doesn't even have to be concerned with what I am saying now.
4. Don't worry. A few hiccups is all. Remember this is a custom product, not something grabbed off the shelf. But it's an enhanced version of OWD mixed with brand new Drum Masters 2 kits with all the latest features we've been talking about and will explain thoroughly this week. To be able to have something so cutting edge and HOT out of the oven it will require some patience. If you don't understand what the benefits are and why it's worth the wait then let me know and I will gladly explain it.

Troubleshooting support is not going to be so easy to do here. Each person has a different system and any number of things could be going on. That's not a common thing that I can explain either. Sounds proprietary to whatever you're doing. Best thing to do for any errors which are rare (in case anyone was wondering) is to contact support (at) esoundz (dot) com. Allen the support manager will get back to you and diagnose the issue with you.Dansy wrote:I tried installing this new infinite player but for some reason it gave me the following;

In here we should try to stick to the common things that affect everyone such as what I described in my previous post.

squids,
I got the infinite player with the kontakt 3.5 player in the zip. It did not install kontakt 2 player. Does this mean I do have the Piano? If so, can't find it.
Thanks!

Like an actual Squid I am multi-tasking here talking to my skeleton weekend SR crew to do this and that while reading some of your posts. First we'll sort out PHASE 1 digital delivery:
Infinite Player + Deluxe Piano with a serial (if you already own IP then Allen will just put that Deluxe Piano sound set - normally $50! - into your esoundz download area! A gift from Squids and a thank you for your patience over the weekend).
Kontakt Player 3.5 Mac or PC (soon to be two different zips as it should have been in the first place I agree)
OR you can just download Kontakt Player 4 for free from www.native-instruments.com
13 OWD Kits saved back in GM, V-Drum and iMap.
150 Odd Groove Midi Files
Once we're sure we've gotten past THAT stage then we can more easily focus on people's questions regarding how to get the hi hats to do this or that with their hardware... keep in mind each person's hardware is different so the vast community of users who may have the same hardware can help each other out too. It will be back to a FUN discussion very soon as opposed to... some sort of mayhem because of the handicap I had during this DIFFICULT weekend to deliver... that will quickly be a thing of the past not to even THINK about again. If some of you are blown away bit Kits 1 and 2 then that's the tip of the iceberg.

I believe it would be in your Instruments called "Deluxe Instruments". But if you can't find it then email Allen and he'll make sure you got the right one. It sounds like it. But anyway regardless he can put the Deluxe Piano into your download area of esoundz if notduojet wrote:squids,

I had to expand a few files again with BetterZip. Stuffit expanded some Mac files with errors. Springy identified the errors but the files still did not work. BetterZip worked fine.Dansy wrote:I tried installing this new infinite player but for some reason it gave me the following;
