There should be an option in the main menu for a new preset, IIRC?

That one loads the Init preset, which is different from the blank Init. The Init still has things set up and routed, while the blank one in my memory was purely blank, no filters no routing doesn't even make a sound.
I was just surprised that I could no longer find the blank Init preset. But I can create my own anyway.

What are your system specs? The only time Massive X starts to get CPU hungry for me is when playing chords with polyphonic unison, but even then it's about 20%. Otherwise, patches tend to use between 5% to 10%. Using a Ryzen 9700X. Certainly nowhere near as bad as Serum 2 (and still sounds better than Serum 2 IMO).swilow11 wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2026 9:36 pm CPU usage is wild now. I find Serum 2 heavy but not half as bad as Massuve X.
