When I was a young man I was married for a while to a pretty wee girl who's parents were Irish folk singers and they introduced me to this music.

Brady slipped off my radar when he ventured into self written rock-type stuff, his voice just isn't/wasn't suited, much better for trad folk imo.

It's fabulous isn't it? The best version by a country mile imo :D :tu:

It's a shame he got overlooked so much in comparison to Carthy, etc, as he was every bit as good, if not better, at trad style folk.
