If comparing hardware to software would be subjective, then noone could do close emulations of the respective synths... of course one is closer than the other. Don't tell me Monark, Diva or Legend aren't closer to a Minimoog than Steinberg Model E.

I think you misunderstud something, because no one said in last posts that comparing hardware to software emulation sound is subjective, but sound quality of X synth being better then synth Y is (aka roland cloud being worse then Tal-mod and vise versa)

Is the new 8 voice polyphony full polyphony like the Arturia Mini V3 or is it weedy paraphonic? Can't demo it because apparently I demoed it sometime previously and it says expired.

I checked it yesterday with a sound that uses all three oscillators + noise and it was full 8 voice polyphonic.
