AFAIR CDbaby is primarily a distribution outlet for independently produced CDs ...

(but IIRC they DO also offer a duplication service)

actually.. I wonder if our tracks will fit into two categories.. as we have a lot of tracks that seem to be going onto this CD.. we could split them onto 2 cd's.. and theme the CD's ...

1 about the future, hope and rebuilding

the other one about rememberence and looking back.

just an idea... err.. kinda ying and yang really..

speaking of tracks, I really like the idea of 2 CD's, my track for example will be about hope and the future...perhasp it should fit on CD2? first cd about the tradgedy and all the moody tracks, and the second about the hope that the future holds.

Yes - it is registered and I am waiting for the DNS propagation plus a confirmation from my ISP that the virtual site is up. Then the builders can move in...

Well, if we're doing 2 CD's then 1000 seems spot on.

Xander and I have talked about two CD's, but it's still in the air. We would need more submissions first of all and I'm sure the price is quite a bit higher. Of course if they are sold seperately then there's a better chance for sells as diversity is appealing to buyers.
We'll see.

I can help out with web graphics and flash animations. I don't know too much web programming yet, but I'm working on it. Here's a sample of a site that I've done.

Unfortunately most of the other websites I do are on the McDonald's intranet so not viewable by the public. Websites compromise about 30% of what I do at work. My other time is spent creating DVD's, CDROM's.

For any devs and designers - the site is running on Linux, MySQL 4.0.x and PHP 4.bla.bla. I have a dev team leader in my forums who has volunteered to do programming for our project - but I don't want to have any monopoly with regards to this so maybe we should start out by having all programmers and designers who want to help out send me a PM about it? Then we can set up a team and take it from there.
