a sidechain input option for the env. mod would be super nice!
It does. Change the input source for the env follower. Implemented in all formats (including VST2, where you have to use the old quad bus trick).

Well, if you really hate it used extreme, you can just treat it as a cheap way to get your hands on all the vintage pitch-shifting kit from the last 40-odd years, in your DAW ;)

NICE! thanks

Sorry if it's been asked already (I'm too lazy to go thru 18 pages :), but does it do something like Eventide's micro-pitch thing (hence vocal doubler)?

Yes, you can used it for doubling and thickening in the same fashion.

Incidentally, I got some interesting results by using an L+R instance as a doubler, and then adding an MS instance on top to create strange, inside/out effects.

The grammar and depth of insight you've displayed ensured the irony of your comments couldn't go unnoticed. :hihi:

You should be call...etc.

On sidechaining the Envelope Follower - I got some nice results last night by sidechaining stuff to the kick, and getting that to trigger filter changes on a sequence. There's a lot of fun to be had with the Sidechain Envelope Follower - not something you see very often on a pitchshifter.

As you don't like it, does this mean the forum will be spared aliasing tests using 10kHz sine waves at absurdly high gain? I guess there's always a silver lining.

i never even tried PitchFunk...how is it?
i think it's a great idea but i have no need for it so i troll to play the bad guy because every thread needs one...
i is dumbfuck myself and i laugh from much pot even at myself the most sometimes...

Heya,

I've got pretty much all the issues on here wrapped up now. And I've hammered CPU usage pretty nasty. And there's a load of new presets :) And Modern Delay got upgraded to something that sounds rather sexy.

Two things I can't repro:
- Graphical glitches with the LFO... anyone seeing this? Any idea how to repro this?
- Reaper, only being able to move the first two points on an LFO curve? Does this relate to a specific LFO? Does changing shapes using the menu work? Any clues on this? Works fine here in reaper4 :/

I'd like to nail those two before shipping 1.01, if possible, so if anyone has seen 'em, please mail me :)

Best love,

Dave.

I guess the rest paid off after all, so hows about smart blankety-blank rather than dumb?

Since no one answered, I assume there is no way for the LFO's to free run.

Speaking of dumb, this question may be that. Is zero pitch shift effectively transparent or even bit accurate? That could be nice for a number of reasons.

Apologies in advance:

This is just one simple static setting: no modulation, delay, dry or feedback.

I forgot to say no filter, either. Man, I sure wish there was a longer splice time for the asynchronous modes. I've been comparing the GRM Pitch Accumulator and the soundhack +pitchdelay with pitchfunk async. They all behave differently, mainly due to crossfade shapes and lengths, etc., I assume.

I do miss having the reverse mode in the old GRM TDM version which made it more like Crystalizer or H3000 reverse shift. Pitchfunk has it, but I want more time. Oh well, probably too late for something like that.

Oh, I did figure out that zero pitch shift is pretty transparent, maybe depending on the mode? Anyway, I've been comparing and trying so many combinations of things, I'm afraid I don't recall some of the results.

I'm still sitting on the fence, so it will probably end up being an impulse buy/not buy, though also based on cash flow toward the end of the intro period. Ultimate CPU consumption will be a factor too.

i just had another couple hours messing with it, got some ridiculous stuff going. love it. not got anything like this so i'll be picking it up when i get the cash.
