Well my honest opinion they shouldn't forget loyal customers and give them a huge discount on X3 because there was no update after X2a, was it?

The new X3 looks like a big load of (3rd party) plugins, noone really needs anymore. Skylight enhancements and better take lanes/comping , hmm not enough if you ask me.

Well, I am pretty excited to see Melodyne integration. One smart decision they have made for X3

. I just hope all other decisions regarding X3 are smarter. Only time will tell. When is it going to be available? Any dates so far?

Plus VST3 and ARA support, both of which have been mooted as major features when implemented by other host developers.

True but they have to justify the amount of money they charge for the upgrades. If they don't throw in all these 3rd party stuff, the upgrade will look like a bug fix
