Kraftraum: I'm not sure, but I think this a well-deserved entry into the top 5! You've put out a ton of imaginative tracks, and I really like this month's! Let us know if you ever release an album of Rotation music!

HMan: Excellent driving reggae beat. Great to see this genre represented!

@Orboscope - Man, I'm really happy to finally see you among the Top 5. You've been constantly creating amazing tracks, it's been a long time coming.

@cytoSonic - Love your track, mate! IMHO, it should have been at least among the Top 10.

And to Bjporter: Bro, thanks a lot for the amazing experience! As I've already told you, I"m happy with the 4th place, of course, but the real thrill has definitely been the creative process and all the things I"ve learned throughout this last month.

I made a statistic about the winners of the OSC over time. Z. Prime is now the fourth artist after Yeager, IrionDaRonin and Jasinksi who won the OSC 5 times

You entered the hall of fame!

Overall I think the quality of the tracks was the highest this month, since I startet participating. It looks like everybody is making progress.

Agreed. Lots of good stuff on this one.

I was especially impressed by Chilled Panda's train "motif" I thought that was excellent the way he came up with that sound & pretty much built the track around it.

Really, though, you guys who participate in this awesome contest are all winners. I started doing this a couple years ago now because I read a little blurb someone wrote to CM about why they like doing the OSC. For me, at least, it is as true today as it was when I started:

it forces me to finish a track - before, I had a handful of finished tracks and hundreds of projects with a few bars of ideas)
it forces me to get better and gives me a channel to do so - I thought I was 'pretty good'... and then I heard a track by Irion that I just loved and realized I wasn't; I tried to figure out how did he do some different things and got feedback how to improve, what to search for, etc.. I didn't even know what sidechain compression was (now, I really, really abuse it! )
the people who participate are awesome (yes, that's YOU reading this) - really, cut from a different thread, everyone in the community is willing to help with advice and such
winning prizes is a nice bonus

Anyway, it used to be customary to give mini-reviews during voting, when votes were in the thread... so I thought I'd continue that with some words of encouragement for everyone:

I've been a fanboi of yours since that prodigy-esque track you made - congrats on a top 5 finish!

Kraftraum - Rotation 21
You're amazing at getting your style out of every synth. Totally unique; can't be replicated.

Animehaus & Bjporter - Radioactive Cashew Nuts Under A Jovian Sky
Great mixing, nice chords, wouldn't expect less from something the fearless leader touches... but you need a shorter title.

Awesome to see more collabs; I tried it and didn't really get very far... I'm very hard to work with.

H-man - LowRezza-LTH-2
Nice sounds, lots of variety; well mixed.

J.Ruegg - Without Direction
Lovely melody, amazing to keep it interesting throughout that whole track.

cactoos - hmmm
Great patches, lovely melodic stuff you always get. Great percussion!

Yeager - Yield
I'm also a huge Yeager fanboi. All that stuff you've come up with over the years... hard to rival. Great sound design, as usual. And your chords... I dunno if you have a book that says: use these chords, they are just right together; but it sounds like it.

Bblunt Productions - I Swear
Nice sounds for that reggae style. It's hard to pull off with just one synth; the sounds are pretty specific I expect to hear, but you got 'em pretty well.

Skyzone - Who's The Blame
Absolute master of the arp. None can touch you. All hail.

Nineofkings - Saltline Dream
Groovy ... err... groove. Absolutely love the saw patches. Nice mix - and the first entry, to boot!

Photonic - Singularity
Orchestral/cinematic is pretty hard to pull off with just a synth... but you got some pretty damn good stuff in there, and some signature Photonic sounds, of course.

bh9090 - Tautology
Really dig your style... love the synth sounds you get; always like the chords a lot.

DoctorBob - Bluesy
For me, probably should have been in the top 5, a lot of really well used/designed sounds, supported this style really, really well...

Chilled Panda - Tracking The Salt Line
Great idea with the train sounds and well executed track, definitely the best theme track of this OSC. I really wish I could compose something based on a theme... really my crap is just much more random...

Pulse Width Modulation - Engage the Second Stage
You continue to amaze me with your talents... inventive tracks, challenging compositions... I don't think many other OSCers would have been able to perform that track anywhere close to how well you did. Except Tony O, his would have been much better...

psmacmur - Plastik Animalz
Nice clean sound, good use of simple isolated semi-rhythmic parts - this is signature for those Martin Garrix releases; good work.

Richard Semper - So Will I Ever Really Know
Like the interplay of the melodies, chords, music; very nice, and good sounds to go along with everything. Like the buildups / drops, quite nice. All in all, a lovely composition.

BK1 (TinCanTelephone) - The Imperial Army Goes to War
Again, cinematic is one of the harder genres to pull off with a single synth... you got 2 sounds that just floored me, though! That drum hit and orch/brass hit were spot on! A couple more orchestral-style sounds and this would be a masterpiece.

ccDuckett - Swierk It
Nice basswork & a cool beat, great atmosphere.

pmj_rit - The Mirage
Nice pads & soft melodic elements; a very soothing track.

e@rs - Yeah Rider
I really liked this track, really unique sounds... almost dubstep or electro, but crazy different in a really good way. Probably the most inventive of the bunch to me.

cytoSonic - Cracks In The Spackle
This was some sort of carnival music at its best; second for the most inventive. Executed wonderfully, to be honest, probably just not most people's cup of tea.

Ricler - Atomic Clock
Some nice classical-sounding progressions; very nice variation in keys.

DFL - Keep Your Hope
Some very lovely sounds, nice chords and kudos for using no effects! Maybe one month we should have an OSC with no effects; I'm sure you'd win hands down.

babistrihos - How Many Instances?
Nice use of noises rhythmically; like the way the beat drives the track forward.

Sizemore0409 - Sizemore0409 Journey To The Center Of The Swierk
Like the square soundedness of things... lead, especially. Often we're stuck in a sea of saws, so squaring it up is a refreshing change. Also like the drumline-like cadences.

Phantomignition - Quarks on Parade
Nice use of retro sounds, really like the fx, video-game-esque lead a lot, and the choppiness of the distorted bass. Enjoyable track to listen to.

fairplay - AAtW
Cool intro noises. Interesting use of dissonance. Like the couple counter-melody lines going on together, even if it's just a short time.

All in all, a very high quality OSC. I'm going to have to up my game for TAL!! I bet Jasinski is cooking something up to blow my mind... *sigh*.

I don't like the winning track (too many simultaneous sounds, the wave-like or inverse nature throughout the track, too much compression or whatever it is that leads to those in my view irritating dynamics, etc.), but yes, in terms of sound design it shows off the potential of Swierk (although I wonder how much of it is due to the effects used).
