Not bad, I tried it on an unmastered wav I saved for testing, made it louder and the lows are more pronounced as before it was thinner and edgy.

I've been rendering a bunch of my songs in various states, using the rock and pop templates.
Makes it a lot easier to hear on my cheap speakers, I think the multiband compressor is boosting the lower mids, I can get a similar effect using reaxcomp.
All in all, veggs a glottenous.

Thanks! .. Sounds like it might be handy for those home made projects that would never make it to the mastering studio anyway.. A bit of spit and polish for soundcloud maybe.. Will try it out
Edit-Tried it.. On the couple of tracks I tried it on it did a pretty good job
These are a couple old tracks I had I was going to just post on soundcloud.. Certainly lifted them , gave them some clarity and heft.. Worth giving this software a try at least
Next step is to make some of my own references..

I'm just curious to know which fact motivates this new business model.

Maybe some people could post some experiences with it...
I'm already equipped with (Multiband) compressors, EQ, limiters and spectrum analyzers - is there anything in this package that is extraordinary? Every song that I make is different, so would it make sense to use a reference at all?

I downloaded AAMS this weekend, read the manual and watched the demo-videos. I am flabbergasted that you have made this donation-ware. This is going to be a HUGE aid in my mastering process. I've been looking for an inexpensive alternative to Har-Bal and this certainly fits the bill!
Thanks so much for your generosity!

Has anyone been able to get this to work on Win 7-64?

Well thanks for the good replies.
AAMS is freeware, but however keep in mind of a donation (donateware) if you use if and get good results.
Why donateware ? Well since users that need masterings done, they can now use it.
Now it is free it will spread more. And even every other software is cracked, so was mine for years. Just for me i use my own software AAMS as well for masterings and mixing (learning to mix better).
Keep in mind that some users think source and reference for them is just a straight copy. AAMS does compare source with reference, but does not straightforward copy it! As some other VST plugins do (specially EQ VST Plugins).
AAMS does calculations that are in the same aspect of what a human should do, but now automated. This for me and many other users, makes the outcome more straight.
('Now you can listen what you expect' is the slogan).
If you test it, i would say use @RMS (something out of the database of references of AAMS that has RMS in the text). For starters use @RMSall, that is a general good start.
Have fun,
Denis

I keep getting an error trying to open the program saying that the ini file is corrupt. Then it crashes. Windows 7 64-bit.
