My track for the One Synth Challenge #110 using JuceOPL and Ableton Live 9.7

https://soundcloud.com/hehirman/h-man-d ... 3-housemix

Actually it's more of a medley. Just me playing around with different variations on a common theme in keeping with my limited attention span

35 instances of JuceOPL

plus,
Ableton FX

EQ8 (on each track)
Compressor (on each track)
Glue Compessor (one or two)
Reverb x2 (Send)
Delay (Send)
Limiter (Master)

also,
1 x OrilRiver Reverb (on claps I think)

See above mate. Kinda weird ....but not entirely unexpected

I'll ditch the browser and try again.

Absolutely outrageous vibes being pulled out of the OPL here, aahhh -- listened to a bunch of these and nearly inhaled a fig (no kidding) :x

It also serves as a great reminder, for me personally, of why this is indeed the best place to be when visiting these forums... (I just came here fresh from... bickering in the IK Multimedia thread  :dog: , and yes, I really really really should just focus on the OSC and maybe other such creative topics when entering this labyrinth that is KVR, hhrrnnggghh, woe is me :D )

Great stuff.

Have voted. (Gave importance to composition when it came to genres that i am familiar with while for the others sound design and how polished the song sounded overall became the criteria)

All the best, everyone! :tu:

Yeah the air is definitely better over here  Possibly because we're having fun making and sharing music

I just only now registered to the osc site (I totally missed that there was still another site other than kvr and the rule page). It lets me vote more than 1pt on my own track atm. Should I be alarmed?

Now I can relax until the end of my year in uni. Maybe I'll join in again for another OSC, but right now, I'm severely burnt out.
It's very tasty, I swear!

Doesn't matter what you vote your track, it'll still get a "1"!!! Best to drop it into the "1" bin!

Now that I'm done, and moved on to the surprisingly amazing #111 synth, I must confess that in the end I did not enjoy going back to making music with the OPL sound - I felt trapped by the past. So I certainly don't love these sounds - but, as always, a lot of you did amazing things with the synth.

Best of luck to everyone!
