Erm, the resize size isn't saved, and the plugin reappears small on next opening, is that correct? Or is there a hidden "save settings" menu entry?

Post

I would be happy with just 4x oversampling option

Yes there seems to be no save as default size setting and even if you resize it if you open a new bank it also resets to 100% - half baked

This is complete now, all presets converted to tagged NKS with audio previews

One advantage of this is although Largo 2 is currently incapable of retaining its gui size, this is retained in the NKS files (so presumably also it would be saved in a DAW project), so I saved them all with a larger size

At least that should be a very easy fix.

You would think but Nave has had the same issue for years and they have not fixed it (it’s even worse with Nave as it doesn’t even save with a project)

We, the ignorant masses, shall await your musical enlightenment with bated breath!
Hah mr sarcasm miss entire point of our conversation about important things, but didn't miss to express his/her/it negativism...
Ok your sarcasm now is more important, than all the insane work related to developing whatever is decent these days, all the pain in the eyes, back thanks to so much working hours...all the health issues, because of that...
For sure your negativism is more important...for you and 6 other guys in same boat hahahahahah writing this to amuse all the readers who will appreciate reverse sarcasm :):):)
On topic i do not reject entirly the ide of upgrade, but two things are very annoying:
1.Limied time window for upgrade, why is not permanent wherever i wont ,next year let say to upgrade, which may be buy now and wait for another upgrade two decades again :)
2.Will upgrade continue with new filters ,more intuitive mod matrix or at least better skin, cause v.2 skin is....hmmm my english is limited of such terms so will say it without translation BOZA :):):)

Cheers :)
Oh come on. Making virtual instruments is such a niche, and fairly low margin business.

Can you really call people wanting to do creative programming work greedy...? I'd say its at best pretty high risk, needs a lot of knowledge and time to build a good synth.

Now preset creators... 100 presets for half the cost of a synth... Good value?
Pretty sure you never spend entire day to create a soundbank ,useful for the users and their music :)Obviously wasting my time sharing info ,there was a movie with shwarzi ''Kindergarten Cop'' obviously the programmers are the superior brother, but sound designers play dani devito small ugly nasty brother muhahahaha i expect next few generations to make music again with stones and stick scause will not gonna understand how electricity works hahahahahah

Well, my friend, like anyone who is absolutely convinced they're better than others and always right, you see everything that goes against your own arguments as negative criticism. Most of the hardworking individuals spend even more hours in front of the screen than you, of course often dealing with more back pain and other health issues.
The difference is, they don't trumpet about how good they are or how many thousands of presets they've already created. They're humble because they're truly skilled.
Therefore dear friend, be modest and refrain from constantly asserting that you know and can do everything better than the rest of the sound designers and developers. It will benefit you, you'll see :)
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not tell us a little bit more about this?
Over 10 years i am dealing with
sound design,exploring in details
dynamic interactions between
modules of subtractive synthesizers.
I created my own System of User
Controlled Real Time Harmonic
Reshaping of the Sound adding
Nonlinear Dynamics to the mix.
It goes deeper and offer way more
than ordinary sound design...
It allows you to transform one instrument
into another with one move of mod wheel.
Transformation of the sound itself offers
palette of new harmonics you'll never hear
with ordinary sound design...

What makes me really angry about this entire distopia is that some programmers and their brain washed blind folowers let themsaelf freely to insult, underestimate, reject, speak against work and value of devolted designers, but we have no rights to do same...obviously i don't see it this way - if you don't respetc me or my work, don't expect anything different from me neither...not very christian logic but i am going mad ,when a mediocre people start to think they are the best thing universe ever created...and there is a lot of these guy here hahahahaha :)

If you're talking about my response, it was just questions as you called developers greedy...

Synths can take people months or years to program. Say 50 weeks.

A soundbank maybe a couple of weeks.

A soundbank doesn't usually cost 1/25 of a synth. So who's overcharging?

I really wish they have done that! It would sound incredible now.

Regarding the "sound design crisis", I suggest a new thread to be created :)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Seriously? Oh lord. That's really bad. Let's hope the developers at Waldorf does something about it now when there are two apps behaving the same.

I'll be watching with interest what Waldorf will do with Largo 2. To be honest, their support also appears like kind of a firewall for them. At least I'm not really sure if one of the semi-professional musicians who do support for them actually even try to reproduce the issues I reported. All they seem to do is copy paste a message that they'll forward it to the developer.

Not impressed with the condition they released Largo 2 in, and, doubtful that they will fix the numerous bugs and shortcomings of the synth. But, I give them the benefit of doubt.
