Nice one! Makes me wish I could buy more things from them. Must resist.

They’re cool. When I called them to ask about a particular quantiser module I was after they didn’t have one but called a guy traveling over from Barcelona to bring one from their store there so I still got it within a few days.

Found a Red Sound Darkstar on Craigslist the week before Christmas.
Also just took delivery of a Roland t8.

I really wanted to like the Darkstar more than I did. More desktop synths should have joysticks.

Ive had a Mercury X for two weeks and am still getting to know it. It can function as any of the following as a simple pedal: chorus, delay, compressor, saturation, overdrive, limiter, pitch shifter, tremolo, vibrato, and more. But it of course excels at combining one or more of those and feeding it into one of the great reverb algorithms.cryophonik wrote: Sun Feb 11, 2024 1:15 amI just checked those out and they look/sound great!simmo75 wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:09 pmLovely!cryophonik wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 7:19 pm 1E56EBB9-D6AB-4564-8BD0-76DDD7E968E9.jpeg

Last night I made a preset from scratch that combined chorus, light bit crushing, delay, and reverb - pretty much replacing what few other hardware fix pedals I have - all within the X. And it sounded great.

The black Mixwitch panel arrived today!
This was a PIA to remove the old one without the proper tools. Those are fastened on very well.
My next purchase will likely be one of those kits for removing eurorack nuts.

This arrived today. I have an orange GHS tele body that I picked up a few years ago but never got around to doing anything with. Because I purchased new pickups for the ghrol that I didn't keep, I decided to finish the orange tele with those, this neck, and a Fender american bridge that I pickup up from craigslist a few years ago. Nothing like adding one more unfinished project to my list.
FWIW: It seems decent. The frets need a bit of a dress, but I expected that. I might replace the nut, but I'll finish the guitar first. The finish has some minor issues, but only on the face of the headstock. I may refinish the face of the headstock and the back of the neck, I may not. I wanted to practice my fret finishing skills on something that was cheap and easy to replace the parts on. All in it will be about a $200 guitar.
(I'm posting this to get an actual completion time on this thing, go on, place your bets!)

Do I need to specify the date, too?
