Asking for a friend - you can buy an online version of December 23's Computer Music for £5, with the free ImpOscar 2 synth. Would that still work as a cunning upgrade path do you think?

You may have already figured this out but, if you haven't, yes you can do what you suggest....i did it and it worked fine.

My dear and 100% real friend did try it but failed. After 3 weeks of wrong support, she got the nice editor of CM who apologised that they weren't able to change the front cover with the offer on it. The editor did say a new GForce synth was coming to the mag soon.

GForce software just got one more fan of Imposcar 3
This is what they respond to me after less than 24h:

Unique sound via build in filter combinations and inspirational guy of v.3.
Wavetable import will make it very competitive to other wt synths.
Personally i find combination of retro and modern sound very useful.
Not that i need it,but it's unique synth and worth support it.

Just upgraded to Imposcar 3. Can anyone tell me how to get the Imposcar 3 Manual so I can read it offline? My Music computer is still not on the Internet for most of the time and I don't want to have to connect up every time I want to check the Manual.

Thanks for that. I can run an Ethernet cable through part of the house to go online but it's not something you want to do every time you want to check the Manual.

Understood.. and no wifi? But yeah some people prefer to be offline.
I imagine the downside is if there are any changes to the manual you will have to redownload, but for now I think one download and you are good

Does anyone know if it’s possible to have modulators retrigger on transport but not with each note?

I'm getting a lot of stepping on the filter cutoff when I use the mod wheel or aftertouch to control it. Is it that way for everyone?

With aftertouch, yes, very hard to control. The mod wheel seems ok, but mapping it always feels a little like it's not getting set up the way I expected.

It's a great synth, and yes, it's quirky, but it also seems a little unpolished. Looking forward to the update.
