So maybe it's performed vocals with Bowie?

Just did some googling and found out that Brian Molko sang with Bowie, so maybe it wasn't Eno.

Please see previous post! Glad you got there in the end...

OK, this time I've done my research to make sure I'm right... :hihi:

What do the following refer to, and what is the common link:

1. From the start to the end of the older book

2. ...and musically illiterate

3. His name, not that he'd admit to it

4. A power station for dinosaurs?

5. Secret agent or bad doctor?

Post

Um...need a clue?

Maybe each of these clues is a title...

Post

:help:

Got a couple of ideas for 1, but that's about it. Anyone else playing?

I know the answer to number4

I know nothing...

Well, after careful research (about 30 seconds' worth) I have abandoned my possible answers to No. 1. Assuming "the older book" was The Old Testament I thought maybe:-

"From Genesis To Revelation" (first Genesis album) - doesn't work - Revelations is the last book of The New Testament.

-or:-

"The Holy Bible" - Manic Street Preachers. Doesn't work for similar reasons (usually refers to both bits).

Plus the only interesting thing about the first of these answers is that it was produced by Jonathan King, which leads us into very dodgy territory.

So I'm now in the same boat as Gary...

You're getting there Frank, and by older read 'ancient' as your post shows that older is misleading... ;)

Don't think anyone's got the link yet though.

Well I'm of out to see Tricky in about 5 mins so can't be solving puzzles tonight. So I'll offer my answer to no 4.

Think it's Get it On by the Power Station (T Rex Cover). I also thought no 1 (probably wrongly) was Children of the Revolution so I went off on a Mark Bolan/t rex google hunt but came back with nothing.

Post

OK, another clue - the titles are all album titles, not song titles.

I almost forgot about this with no new posts.

OK, some help - they're album titles and they're all linked by a common factor - something that one or more persons involved in recording said about the album.

Actually, I'll help you out a little with the artists:

1. English band

2. American artist

3. English artist

4. European band

5. American trio

Post

OK, more clues then:

Get a few of the albums and the link should become obvious. I'll give you the initials of the artist or band

1. From the start to the end of the older book - G

2. ...and musically illiterate - TA

3. His name, not that he'd admit to it - DB

4. A power station for dinosaurs? K

5. Secret agent or bad doctor? BB
