Is anyone else having trouble getting the update?
I'm logged in and when I click on 'downloads' it just hangs indefinitely.

Ok. After several errors about Firefox and Safari not being able to connect to cytomic.com, it seems to have worked!

Can someone verify a bug for me in the latest version?
When I try loading any preset I've created via "Load" in the drop down menu, the preset is not loaded.
I went back to the previous version and it loads fine.
Thanks...

Ok. I'll send an email to support. I can reproduce it every time in Logic 9.

I can confirm this is a bug in v1.1.4. When you load a preset the knob positions don't update on screen, but the preset is otherwise loaded properly. As a workaround you can close the user interface and then open it again and the knobs will be in the correct position. I have already fixed it and will release an update this week. Sorry about that!natqueencole wrote:Can someone verify a bug for me in the latest version?

News: I've got the controls drawing properly on loading a preset load now, and also got the full version to handle running both the AU and VST at the same time if you want. I've repeated the fixes that were included in v1.1.4 and the oversampling below in case people missed them first time around.
The Glue updated to v1.1.5
* Recent feature: smoothed Threshold, Makeup, Range, Mix, and Sidechain HP controls so no pops, clicks, or zipper noise when adjusted from gui or automated
* Recent feature: linear phase high quality oversampling to support up to 12 MHz (x256) - note that x2 is recommended for Realtime and x8 is recommended for Render
* Recent feature: next and previous preset buttons
* Fixed: controls now re-drawn in correct position after loading a preset
* Fixed: you can now use both the AU and VST version at the same time in hosts that support both (eg: Ableton Live or Studio One)
* Fixed: removed CPU spikes when drawing the graphical user interface on Mac
* Fixed: removed CPU spikes on first play, and when switching oversampling amounts
* Fixed: preset menu not showing with some hosts on PPC
* Fixed: reduced memory footprint with large oversampling amounts with large host buffer sizes

I've been able to get some work done on the new product, which will be out at the end of 2011 (possibly earlier). I've finally worked out a cool name for it, so I'll make an announcement in the next month once I have done a little more work and got some more audio examples put together
Also good news: I've got 64-bit VST support working on Mac, so that will be included in the next release along with bug fixes for intermittent problems people are having with Nehalem processors.

I would love to drop some hints, in fact I have had to bite my tongue on several occasions, but I think it will be best to wait until I have some audio demos to back things up.Electrobop wrote:That's great news! Can't wait. Any hints?
