Personally I don't mind that.

I'd still like to see Helm in an OSC
Firebird is fine in linux with reaper/wineasio, very fun to use.
And Helm seems pretty easy to create sounds with.
Coin toss, win either way...

Helm has a lot of potential to be a great synth, but it still seems pretty buggy. Less than a minute of use and the envelope assignments start to get out of whack for me. That's a showstopper to make a whole track with...

Just a question about effects rules, I want to clip some Noisemaker sounds but even when bouncing to 16bit it ends up automatically normalized & will still sound the same regardless of how extreme I clip in FL.
Would using a plugin like GClip be allowed? Thanks in advance :D

This is basically distortion, right? So should be fine assuming it's a free plug as long as it's not "making the sound unrecognizable" based on your own interpretation of what that means. :)

I am planning to use Busdriver from Nomad Factory. I got that for free when Nomad Factory gave it away. I am not sure it is still for free and therefore classified as a free plugin? ..anyone know if Busdriver is okay?

Cheers!

No, time limited freebies are not allowed :(

Edit: And it's a damn shame too as there have been some excellent plugins made free for a limited time over the years.

Thanks for the clarification. Then I must figure out another way

Right, as I interpret the rules, more specifically: plugins are not allowed that are not currently freely available. Even if at some point the plugin was free, or still may be free but can't find a download because the site has been abandoned or it's been removed, etc.. This restriction would be on par with commercial plugin restriction: it would be impossible to validate a track without being able to obtain and use the plugins.
