On the edit page for the wavetable (pencil icon) you will see "none" on the center. You can change it for your favorite method of interpolation (waveform blend, spectral blend...)

Thanks, I'll have a look. :tu:

If you're working with an imported Wavetable in .wav format that option changes. It will then be Blend Style:

Any word on the next version of Vital with the reworked GUI engine?

Last I read on the Vital forums....

"I see why you might think there’s no development activity because I don’t push changes to the public repo. Maybe I should make a note of that on the public repo that I have a separate private repo where I push all development changes.

About M1 compatibility -
As you can probably tell I planned to have an M1 out by now. Life got in the way a bit and that hasn’t happened yet.

That said, I do have an M1 build out in early testers hands (along with the extra features). When it’s ready to send out I’ll make a post here".

Sounds like the new GUI engine was quite a undertaking.

Indeed but there's light at the end of the tunnel!

Yep. Last I saw was that all of Matt's effort was being put into that new GUI engine. Except for bug fixes. Definitely sounded like it was a big undertaking.

I guess the File blend option is the equivalent to what other wavetable synths use.

I got some weird crackling though, with the Virus TI wavetables. Not sure why.

It looks like the new GUI in action :)

Notice the gradient animations on the LFO for example.

Do you have a link to the Virus tables? I've done some made up of individual Virus wave forms (using DUNE 3's editor) and they seem to work well. Here's one:

That's what all the fuss is about? More eye candy? I thought he was improving stability and performance. :?

It's these ones: https://www.adamszabo.com/vstplugins/vi ... d_id=16562

Try the "Landing" one.

I don't know the details, but I imagine the biggest reason to rewrite the GUI engine was improving performance and stability.

All I'm saying is that it seems the rewrite is quite advanced at this point :tu:

I don't know that we can predict how advanced the rewrite is.

But it certainly is a milestone when one can demonstrate it working on part of the GUI and it's not glitching.
