I installed IP, but for whatever reason I don't have an infinite player folder. I have successfully authorized everything. I just don't see an Infinite player folder.

The Infinite Player folder may be inside a Sonic Reality folder. But doing a search on your computer for a folder called Infinite Player should reveal the location for sure.

Searched for both infinite player folder and sonic reality. it may be because I didn't load the kontakt player since I already have kontakt. I should have paid attention to the installer. I will doublecheck when I get back to my DAW. I'm also going to be reinstalling the IP with the grand piano install which should clear things up either way. thanks

I have an old Inf Player installer so it may be different. The installer asks for a program location & a samples/instruments location (default name Infinite Player), the new fixit files go in the samples/instruments location.

I tried downloading the image patch and extracted the zip into my IP root folder. I now see the OWD graphic on my instruments in Kontakt 3.5 but the graphic for the IP library is gone. Did I do something wrong?



BTW, I'm in no hurry for a fix if one is necessary. I appreciate all the effort you and your staff have put in to make this awesome group buy a sonic reality. (Couldn't resist)

No you didn't do anything wrong. The guy that helps us at NI did the update quick before he left for vacation and left out that image in the latest info.nkx (the file that has the graphics for Infinite Player). So the trade off is that you have the latest OWD and DM2 graphics but this was left out - only temporarily though as I said. As soon as he's back from vacation (tomorrow? I hope) I am going to ask him to give us a new info.nkx with that image back in there!

We can't actually update that file on our own. Has to be done by NI. But the good news is that as you download new kits it will magically and invisibly update itself because we'll include that graphic replacement as soon as we have it!

Hey look folks. I can't get around a real rocky start. This was one of the most challenging Group Buys to do and also one of the biggest clusters of mayhem at the beginning. That's not what was intended at all. But, the best we can do is bust arse to get it all together for you just right. That's why I say Tuesday is a much more SANE day to get started because a lot of the stuff we're talking about now will be a moot point then.

Allen is working his tail off for you guys. He got ALL of the redeem codes delivered (by hand... closer to 700 ppl now btw) and now he's doing each serial by hand too. We can't just automate that because he has to look at the account and make sure it's all okay first.

Oh oh. I still don't have anything in my eSoundz account except the Kontakt installer (which I already own). I had emailed Allen earlier with a copy of my PayPal confirmation, so that he could track my order. What would be a good next step now?

By the way, I see that some of you have racked up some SERIOUS epointz in referrals! Good for you. I've seen some with over a couple hundred dollars in epointz which is really good. You can pick up a lot of free sounds for your Infinite Player. Remember even if you pick a Drum Masters 1 it the update for the Drum Masters 2 script/patches IS free so... you might as well use those epointz now then and have some fun! Here's a tip. But in case someone needed access to it again later without having to reinstall Infinite Player it might be nice that it is in EVERYONE's user area, not just the people that opt for the Jazz kit. See? We think of you guys. That's a nice piano too. It's a larger version of the one we did for M-Audio that's in their hardware keyboard and Prosession Premium series. Even Yamaha raved about it in one of their magazines (Accent or whatever it's called). Not a bad freebie! That is to wet your appetite for more. Infinite Player isn't just for drums.

What's your esoundz nick? You guys should post your esoundz nicks whenever possible because you never know when someone could use your name as a referral and the will give both them and yourself up to $5 in credit on the site for future downloads (per referral).

Btw, I can't reveal who but some famous musicians joined this group buy. Relatively famous (not Steve Tyler but...).

On a completely different note I have a tip for you. If you like Chicken Soup - and this is a good time of year for that. Let me break down a little myth for you. It is EASY! Here's the shortcut... well besides canned but treat yourself better than that. You got this group buy for fresh sounds so eat fresh too. Okay, if you local market has Rotisserie Chicken then get one. Eat the chicken off the bone, make sandwiches, quesadillas... whatever you'd do with whole chicken. BUT do NOT throw away the body. (Sorry vegetarians... close your eyes). Just put it in a pot with boiling water and then let it simmer for a half hour or more. You can get fancy and put in a little garlic or herbs but even JUST that can make a delish chicken broth with healing powers (I just did it). Then you can make a soup by adding in noodles if you want (not for me) or carrots (nice), celery (ok), potatoes (eh if you need it). You take the body out and hopefully there's little bits of chicken in the soup as well or you can put them in there. I like it just pure broth actually. Like a tea in a mug. Ahhhh. A little chicken broth and wasabe almonds and I'm feeling toasty.

But don't think we're not working on this Sunday night! We are dedicated to this round the clock for you.

That's the same one that came with the start kit if that's what you mean. Most people that have the Infinite Player got it with Drum Masters or something like that and it didn't come with that piano. So only some people have it already... and as I said if you do then, well, it was the thought that counts. A gesture overall for the majority of people. We can only do so much on a broad scale to make everybody happy.

Now if you were offering any non-OWDs (which I know you aren't) then I would beg for one of the Bonham kits, because they promise to be a heap of fun to play with.
