Hello

I'm new to this forum and thinkin' of buying a Plugiator.
I've checked the manual and how many voices seems to depend on which plugin you're using.

Is it possible to put the plugins or the plugiator itself in monophonic or unison mode?

Polyphonic mode is not ideal for basslines and som leads...

/p

Of course it's possible, there must be a unison mode.

Hi,

I have some problems with the plugiator and want to ask for help and information.

anyone with a working plugiator here, which has no problems with midiclock?

Was it bought like this or had it to be sent to the distributor?

If bought like that, which HW-version was it, which serial on the unit (2508...)

Anyone with a HW-version of >= 01.03.0137 in a new unit?

I bought a plugiator (so said recently delivered to the seller) with a 2008 HW-version 01.03.0134, which has to be send to the distributor for updating for working correctly. But, that's just were it came from...

I do not have a distributor in my country and all this is very complicated. Furthermore who wants to send a *new* unit directly to the distributor (btw who pays this?) to fix a bug from 2008 who was already fixed oficially many months ago. I also asked explicitly for a new, actual unit. :(

So any help and information is very welcome.

Thanks and regards,

Ralf

totally agree, I'll take 8 top quality emulations with zero cpu drain, I have both the Plugiator and the Vmachine and one of them is a paper weight !!
Megakazbek wrote:You must remember that those plugins that are available for plugiator are of extraordinary quality. Among them you'll find the best Minimoog, Prophet, Odyssey and Hammond B3 emulations EVER CREATED. If you need limitless possibilities and tons of plugins, then of course V-Rack is preferrable choice, but I would rather have a package of few, but best of the best plugins, unsurpassed by anything else, which is what Plugiator basically is.

Agreed, no buyer's remorse here - and I've even been swayed on the VSTi they have coming out to control the hardware unit. I see the light, it will be useful and used. These are top-notch emulations.

Hi chaps

Anyone here using the plugiator asx with the ESI k-On controller?

I'm thinking of buying an asx, a bargain at £120.00..

I already own a pulsar II card in my main DAW so hopefully, i can use my existing plugins with the plugiator, happy days.

Don't bank on that. While they are the same plugins essentially (both having their history in the old Creamware) they are now made by 2 separate (and competing) companies and Sonicore will not support their plugins running on Plugiator afaik.

Following keyboardman9999's post, its worth noting that the V2 plugins / software are now up for downloading:

http://www.use-audio.com/downloads.htm

Worth noting that it was actually easier to update all the plugins without rebooting the box / restarting the software. Before I started, I copied all the *.ldr files into the loaders folder (where it always looks) and had a text file with the license codes in, copied and pasted from my account page.

It was as simple as:

1. change drop down for plugin
2. select correct *.ldr file
3. copy and paste the relevant license key
4. hit write
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for all plugins

Just got my Plugiator two days ago. It's been marvelous! Everything works more or less perfectly(just few glitches on the VSTi graphics with Reaper..) and the sound is HUGE :)

I was very positively surprised about the DrumsNBass synth. It's got the best kick and snare drums i've ever heard out of a synth. And a very 303'ish bass synth that sounds as "resonant" as the best 303 emulations i've heard.. plus it can do BASS sounds too :)

The Prodyssey has to be the meanest sounding synth i can think of. So raw!
I'm so in love with this whole package. I'm controlling it with Novations Nocturn, which makes it almost as accessible as my Nord Lead.

Got a sweet deal of 277 euros for the HW and all plugins for it. From Germany with love, if you know what i mean...

I love this little box - and I'm a guitar player! A funky on the new 2.0 install, but all is good now.

Love this little box.

people who have the plugiator, please try this.

with pro-12 try to enable and disable the "low note", it's not working right, and it changes with the number of voices set on unison, it's not suppose to happen.

And try to enable retrigger on minimax, when it's on it's actualy off, and when it's off it's actualy on.

please try to find other issues on plugiator and send these bug reports to use audio.

I gess nobody likes to pay for an unfinished synth.
