Depends which country you're in as far as Google, Facebook having your data is concerned due to local laws. It's not really so much what Google might do with it that worries me as much as what governments will do when Google willingly hands it over. Too much going on behind closed doors and laws put in place to keep that invisible for my liking, but I digress and shouldn't take this HPC-ward.
But yeah, Facebook - my wife said she would never sign up for any social networking site and that they're stupid, but now she's on Facebook all day, either on the PC or her phone...
