Sorry about that, I didn't know that KVR had logged me out and so I did not see the message box pop up. I'm responding right now :)

Good news - we've been contacted by a hardware developer who has been gracious enough to offer us funding for the completion of the project so that they may ship it with their hardware project, along with Real Waveforms, who have dedicated a portion of their sales to this project as well! The first version should be available shortly, but the inclusion of this funding is a great boost to us, and should allow us to develop the software more quickly for all pre-order customers :)

great news Steven {& Rhalla!}

by completion do they mean the full feature set as put together through submissions in the earlier part of this thread ? or completion of a comparatively basic feature set ?

My understanding is that the funding is for the following major features:

- Importing/cropping
- Multisample support
- SFZ Exporting
- Waveform Randomization
- Some batch functions
- Freeform editing

This is not definitive, but I will find out more info very soon once the funding amount is set in stone. These functions will all take some time to implement, but at least the funding is there :)

Real Waveforms have also dedicated 5 euros from each sale to help with development as well, which is beyond nice of them. Thanks Real Waveforms! :)

Also, for those who were interested in a definitive list of the functions supported by the formula editor:

- sin
- cos
- tan
- tanh
- arctan
- log
- lin
- exp
- rand
- frac
- sqr
- abs

Additional functions can be added, and if there are some that people desire to see included, please let us know.

Please, I'd prefer an other priority order:

1st: Import
2nd: Bezier editing
3rd: Whatever... :)

I also want an alpha version! :D

I think the 1st and 2nd features you noted may be reversed, but yes, those are actually the top 2 right now :) And as soon as we receive the first version, it will become immediately available to all pre-order users :)

I'm on a Mac... but I pre ordered anyway! Great idea for an app.

Hopefully you guys will support Mac... even just as standalone app....

If not I'll just use Parallels on my Mac to run it....

I think there should be support for Cakewalk's Dimension LE, Dimension Pro, Rapture, Rapture LE, and RGC Audio's Z3TA+.

I'm hopping at some stage to be able to load waves into the PPG Wave 2.2 using the buss emulator over midi. Otherwise I might have to find one of these: http://theppgs.com/waveterma.html

The Wave Designer with the PPG... mmmmm...
