You kids are hilarious. Years go by with barely a mention of Minimoog V except usually in a negative way such as, "...not as good as ______" and now that it's free it's the best thing since sliced beats.
I can't imagine working harder than clicking a link to get it, and maybe even that's too much effort.

I need something to do while I wait.
So. Should I pour myself a Gin and Tonic or have a beer?

Minimoog V was worthing even as a paid synth. Now, for free? It will be easily the best freebie around.

You might find getting to the site, and finding the dl area, much more difficult then.cyberheater wrote:I need something to do while I wait.

Not to mention, what if they make you input those squiggly anti-bot words.

Let me kill some time with a pedantic anorak comment: Recycle is a bit older than Minimoog V right?zerocrossing wrote:and now that it's free it's the best thing since sliced beats.

If it was a choice between sliced beats and Minimoog V I know what I'd choosezerocrossing wrote:You kids are hilarious. Does anyone remember reading the Sound on Sound review of Minimoog-V.
The guy basically sat down with his own Minimoog and compared the sounds. A/B-ing between the real Minimoog and the emulator and basically said that the difference between the two were the equivalent of the differences between two Minimoogs as no two sound exactly the same.
He was very impressed. That's good enough for me.
