Don't hesitate! It was both smiling irony but as well honest curiosity.Cinebient wrote:I don´t want to spam that thread....otherwise i would start.....elassi wrote:Oh yep.Cinebient wrote:Just let us post our favorite self made ambient/chill track since we should know what we have used for this. A tiny step/attempt in that direction has been made recently. Looking forward to its results.

Nice....here is one more of the rhythmic side. But i like that (but i also made a lot without beats) and some might it consider non-ambient because it´s too "busy" and too short.
Indeed a lot Alchemy included too.
Otherwise Logic intern instruments, a bit Omnisphere (but not much
) and a ton of FX. None of these are on my soundcloud so i have to post this link (not sure how and embed links works with Logamp).

I know that you're trying to troll, work on the technique, but, certainly the paulstretch anything = ambient is interesting to discuss, no?egbert101 wrote:I was going to post some Metallica as ambient, because, you know, who is to say that Metallica is or is not an ambient band.![]()
I think that it's rare that I hear a piece come out of Paulstretch naively that stands the test of time with respect to the dynamics of an excellent ambient track. It almost gives itself away at some point with the repetition structured in a way that it sounds like a non-ambient work slowed down.

This actually sounds much better than anything else they have done - it's greategbert101 wrote:I was going to post some Metallica as ambient, because, you know, who is to say that Metallica is or is not an ambient band.

Listened in Firefox as nosound in Opera.
Do like the sounds , especially the opening and closing synth sounds.

Ok, guys, if you have something to post (music, not words), keep it coming.
aMUSEd and Cinebient delivered, now it's your turn. Don't be shy (did I read this sentence elsewhere?).

Otherwise i spam another one.....(beware, i have lots of them
).
But one more O.K. something without a beat and it was a track i made and recycled trough Dust (SoundMorph, indeed great for Ambient) and used Kaleidoscope, B2 (2CAudio).
Posted it some time ago already in the Kaleidoscope thread since that was the most used plug-in.
Here we go. This time it was on sound cloud since it was more meant as a demo but i planned to do a long version of it. Not sure if it´s worth. Plays a lot with resonances:

Enough from me.....keep it coming guys.
Need to calm down before Christmas.

timfarman wrote:Well here's music I could actually possibly relax too, although the given titles frankly worry me !
But it's relaxing ,ambient and I could do some new-age hippy shit yoga to it and chill the f**k out, innit
So this is a good example of the kinds of general statements that people have been making without taking their statements to the extreme. Almost any synth will get you there, but, the quality of the engine is likely to matter, or samples, plus reverb!
