- CPU is even lower than Electra2 . I made a lot of effort to optimize the software. You are able to load dozens of instances (over 100?) on a modern CPU, all that with high-end sound-quality. Multicore CPUs are natively supported

- Currently a team of 6 professional designers is building patches

- Demo-tracks will be created after sound-design is finished

Great. Coming along nicely.
Your call of course, but I didn't mean a complete song/track, just a sound or two.
I am actually finding walk thru patches more useful to me than demo-tracks.

Eric Persing introduced Omnisphere with 1 sound... I was already hooked from that one sound :)

Do you really need MPE for every synth? Remember MPE is still pretty new.

My wish/tipp
because tone2 is on my side, since i start: astonishing sounding firebird, quick and easy standard reverb warmverb
set focus on presets to show the real potential

Yes,
I don't play keyboards anymore...
I stopped using synths in the ninties for the lack of expression. Synths which I can't play expressively are simply boring...

then we should let everyone who makes music without MPE know how messed up they are, and how bad their music is. btw, 1890s or 1990s?....

Icarus2 supports MPE natively.
To enable it click on 'SETUP' within Icarus2 and select one of the MPE modes on the lower left.

You can also select from several micro-tunings, glide-modes and glide-times. You can find it in the upper left of the GUI.

I don’t know if it’s a bug, but I’m not able to get Icarus 2 to respond to MPE correctly. Latest Windows, latest Bitwig Studio builds. All my other MPE software seems to work perfectly (Equator, Surge, all the FXpansion, Falcon, Vital, etc.). I tried both MPE options.

Their music is so bad and anyone who doesn’t use an MPE controller is a bad person. When I’m king they shall be put in the stocks as punishment.
btw, 1890s or 1990s?....
Both.

i agree about this; that synths in the 1890s had a complete lack of expression. in fact, i can't think of one single synth from the 1890s worth mentioning.

am looking forward to warlock, MPE or not...

With sound-design I'll put some extra focus on the things that other synths can't do / can't do easily:

- extremely punchy plugs / arps /basses
- spectral morphing with the oscs
- unique atmos & pads
- special filter types
