A new build of Reverside is available. This build is pretty close to a reverb feature-complete version.
If you have not received a corresponding email from me or would like to betatest please email me at info@devproaudio.com
And many thanks to everybody who donated and thus helped me to move forward with the development.

In the email it says that it is auv2. I’ve been on windows quite some years but will be using Mac soon. I thought AUs were now auv3? At least the Apple silicone ones. Are there auv2 and auv3 still that are Apple silicone compatible?

AUv2 is the well-used and longstanding .component plugin architecture. Nothing has changed with that, afaik, and it does support ARM on Apple silicon as long as the dev has recompiled for it. Apple still hasn't officially deprecated AUv2.
The next generation is AUv3, which originated on iOS and mostly can be found with apps there. A small minority of plugins you buy from the app store support desktop installs and run as AUv3. A developer can cross-compile AUv3 to support Mac, but not all do. Mostly has to do with convergence of iOS and MacOS, and AUv3 is still largely irrelevant outside of apps you buy from the App Store, although a few DAWs already support it.

this VST3 is still rejected by Cubase and Live on macOS.

Looking forward to trying reverside.kidslow wrote: Tue Oct 01, 2024 7:31 pmAUv2 is the well-used and longstanding .component plugin architecture. Reverside AUv2 has now a limitation that the plug-in window is not resizeable, so AU version still needs some work.
guys, please report bugs to info@devproaudio.com.

Hello, it's a real pleasure to be back with Denis' algorithms.
I'm starting to test Riverside on a Mac M1 Sequoia laptop. I'm testing, for example, with struck string sounds under Logic Pro, Reaper, Luna, Machine2 and Live 11. There's immediately a flavor, a finesse, a “touch”, a depth, a very particular musicality in these reverbs.
This reassures me for my future creations, as it's obvious that the old 2C products are no longer followed (even though they're still sold without warning).
I'm now looking forward to seeing Riverside evolve: user interface, optimization, more presets, the correction of a few minor bugs (for example, I've noticed some crackling when adjusting the equalization), there's certainly more work to be done. But the main thing is already there: sound quality!
I'm especially looking forward to a Mac Intel version, as my main studio is on it.
In any case, it's a credit to Denis for picking up the gauntlet after so many pitfalls. Long live Riverside and Devproaudio!

yeah i didnt test this reverb myself yet and i dont judge the situation with them as i dunno them, the situation personally etc. but it seems Denis shows more that he goes on and tries to also to show appreciation to old buyers for giving the reverb out instead of the other partner being just silent? and still selling plugins without any warning. i think this could indeed show whats up. i hope the new plugin works out and gives new energy and success!
i still use the old plugins but with caution as you never know how stable these are in newer DAWs and OS.

yeah, but well as a customer i have to accept that the old Reverbs are abandoned and unsupported. let's see how this new one develops.
i only get it maybe when it has no online CP.

I hope you bring Kaleidoscope to M1 mac, its the best and most unique plugin ive ever used, use it all the time. I'm sure a plugin thats similar to it, redesigned, or less features to make it different than the original would be amazing

Now that will gladly almost certainly never happen. What a waste of development ressources Kaleidoscope was. ( It's the Reason B2 V2 never materialized.) And Denis thinks so too - it was Andrew who kept pushing it.ferventwindow wrote: Mon Nov 11, 2024 1:37 am I hope you bring Kaleidoscope to M1 mac, its the best and most unique plugin ive ever used, use it all the time.
