I've also noticed that there is something causing the oscillator waveform selection arrows to forget their position.

Example: Let's say I toggle the arrows to change waveforms to Stacked -> Square 2x. A short while later, when I decide I want to change the oscillator waveform again, if I toggle to arrow it will revert back to 'Saw' at the very beginning of the list instead of continuing through the Stacked folder.

I experienced this behaviour in Icarus 2.5 as well, and it continues in 3.

How does the granular osc work?
I’m not seeing how to add grains, or change size and space.

I don't think you can it is really basic.. morph controls the repeat of the grain and sort of the length too but no way to adjust the grain length properly or add grains as far as I could tell.. seems a bit of a bonus feature added in but hopefully I am wrong.

Icarus imho is swiss knife for modern producers.
There is something special in it,not sure what exactly, but similar instruments,made with different synth sound somehow more rich and sweet,when Icarus is in the game as layer or main track.
Packed 300 presets for it,but cant stop making new ones,today added another 5-6 to cover better ''ANALOG'' needs :):)
Will release them with new brand,but the site is not ready yet and still struggle to chose right compositions as demo.
If somebody is interested to make instrumental and send me a video link i can use as demo,will refund the money to demo maker,some guy use my presets for Warlock the way i wouldn't even try,so open for ideas and collab.
Write me at velltonedesign@gmail.com if interested,new label isn't ready yet,when ready will release new sets with it.

I would like to ask Icarus users here,what type of instruments or style of music you miss and wanna see made with Icarus 3.
After 11 years sound designing i can do almost everything with this synth or to modificate already existing stuff to something else,but lately have lack of ideas what to add to each of the three soundsets i prepare, called Deams Ambient , Dreams Modern and Dreams Vintage.
Just wish whatever you like or want,could share video link to something and i'm gonna add it.
Source material is over 2000 presets i made last two years,but the problem is that this is my preferences and my style,which is definitely different than 90% of users preferences,so please help,each will have 288 presets inside,for now there is basic separation of 306 presets,but everyday i add new stuff.
I am so trilled about I3 release.

Yeah i know now that but before writing previous (i mean very first one asking where is the demo) comment i did checked downloads and i had no idea if pc version or will come, it just said v2

I sampled Repro and made some cool wavetables last night. If you use a Prophet-based wavetable with 1x analog drift and the 24db Ladder Filter, you can get pretty close to having nice creamy Prophet sounds. You can also use any of the ringmod filters with drive to simulate filter FM or audio rate polymod! The ladder filter still doesn't sound as percussive as the Repro filter, but it can get close.

Absolutely amazing plugin Tone2, congratulations!

The only thing I’m a little disappointed with is the granular implementation, but that could be user error, as I’m struggling to work out the functionality.

Everything else is spot on!
