Waldorf MicroWave as a plugin?

I wonder, if the virtual MW will be able to read original MW sysex like the Waldorf M? But I don‘t have high hopes that it will feature a way to export sounds from the plugin to be imported into the vintage MW via sysex.

The plug-in can import original .mid and .syx files with preset dumps including user tables and wavetables.

This is good news.
Will it also read the card sysex files that circulate around in the internet? The Waldorf M did not like these, so you had to use some Hex-Editor to extract the single sounds of these card sysex files.

Including the original microWave sound cards would be great, but I guess this is not legal possible, as the old contracts with the sound designers did not cover this usage. Though, some card content was included in the Waldorf M, like the PPG sounds made by Wolfram Franke.

Normally, full-version Waldorf installers are in your account.

As they've just released this one, it's possible they haven't quite sorted this yet.
