That looks outstanding
we should move this to an arguru-apecific thread so that we can bang our pitchforks and torches on his front door instead

A much appreciated and understood response!!![ xerocreep ] wrote:Oh, and I abandoned the black and green one pretty quickly. I wanted to make this one look as pro and mainstream as possible, since it is really a great bread and butter synth. so i decided to go with a more classic feel.

I assume that Arguru knows the skin is ready and he's just working on other things. I'm quite eager for this.

I was able to track down 4 banks of presets, I believe, by scanning KVR and the web with Google. It would be nice if someone could host them all. Ideally, they'd be at Arguru's site, but I'm not sure how interested he is.
I have a bank I've been painstakingly working on for many weeks. It's 1/2 poly. 1/4 mono/legato, 1/4 sound effects. If you'd like to preview it, I could probably email the current fxb, as long as you promise not to pass it around until it's done. It's aimed pretty much at dry-ish bread-and-butter musical sounds for the polyphonic patches, with more interesting sounds for leads and basses in the mono area. When I'm doing the mono patches, my goal is to come up with something interesting enough to be used for a synth solo like "Lucky Man" or "Band on the Run." Can't say I've come close, though. I think the next synth I'll make patches for is the MiniMogue. Maybe I can come closer there.
After I get all the sounds in roughly, I'm going to take a pass at polishing them all--making sure the echo amount is appropriate, it's in tune, and it's the right volume.

I don't believe I did. Thanks. I'll try it out. Maybe some of the patches can inspire me to finish my own bank. Every bank I've tried so far has helped.

In the Arguru forum, there is a thread about Voyager with links for presets. Stewart had made a very good bank, Kriminal also.2) ARE THERE ANY PRESETS APERT FROM THE ONES IN THE DOWNLOAD? i did skim through all the pages bud didint see any thing
