Here's a link to it: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Xboard49/

and here's a statement about international orders:

International Orders
In order to ensure that our international customers get the high level of customer service Sweetwater is committed to delivering, please call, 1-260-432-8176 (1-800-222-4700 in Canada), and speak to a Sales Engineer instead of ordering your selection online. Various manufacturer agreements and pricing issues have made it necessary for Sweetwater to give added attention to online orders for our international customers so that we may process the orders accurately and effectively. We'd like to make sure you're getting the high standard of service you deserve. Please call us at 1-260-432-8176 and your Sweetwater Sales Engineer will be happy to attend to your order as soon as possible.

I just called them to make sure they do Romania and they said yes. The guy also said you can email him directly if you like since you have difficulty speaking, so you can email trip_irish -at- sweetwater.com (replace the -at- with @)

Woowww , wonderfull !

That is a well known store in the US and has a good reputation as far as I know. They are closed until tomorrow at 9AM according to a pop-up message at the site. I added the item to my cart, and selected Romania as the destination, then calculated shipping and it was $93 for shipping , making the total $263 :(

So I would have no fear of ordering from them, but I do not know if that shipping is too high, it seems pretty high but Romania is far away! :)

For the moment this seems to be the best solution ! I already received an e-mail answer and from sweetwater.com and their price is 270 $ (including shipping), so nearly the same price !

I hope you'll get it soon.

I'll check carefully the DVD tomorrow morning (it's almost 12 PM in France), and I'll tell you if you must send a new one.

A question : is Doru a Romanian first name or a diminutive ?
You can't always get what you waaaant...

Good to see you are still with us Doru. Loved the free samples, where can I order/ buy drum samples in Australia ? Is there a distributor, or do I need to do the credit card thing over the net ?

Has anyone mentioned JRRShop? http://www.jrrshop.com/advanced_search_ ... 02&x=5&y=9

I think they ship just about anywhere, and if you type in the word "forum" in the discount/coupon box while ordering you get an extra 10% off. It's a smaller company but the owner (Eric Dahlberg) frequents KVR and other forums and they have a good reputation.

Be aware that BHPhoto is closed for quite a few days right now because of religious holidays. They have a schedule somewhere on their website, so you might want to check that first if you are thinking about ordering through them.

So how long does it take for one to get together a miser 30 bux! Took me real long this time! hehe.. ill order tonight!

Tell me, any advantage rdering the 24 bit version over 16 ? I work at 44.1/24. And was wondering if i would be better off ordering the 96/24 DVD and then downsample everything to 44.1/24. Or is it pointless ?

Hi Doru,

First off, I'm also sorry to hear news of your failing health. Your 230 Ethno drums lists "washboards" as part of the set. I actually need any washboard samples for a session I have to do THIS weekend. Are these a part of any of your Free samples? I looked and it doesn't appear so.

I run the local Club Cubase users group and I'll be sure to tell our members of your product; at that price I'm sure you'll get takers!

Best wishes,

Marcel
